So...legal question here guys.
I got a letter back from a Virginia General District Court for an arrest that occurred in 2003 - 2004 or so. Like I said it was a REALLY silly arrest and misunderstanding and the cops thought I was trying to "steal" my own car or something lol.
Anyways the District Court only keeps records for 10 years and destroy them after the 11th. The result was that the case was dismissed. I was arrested but it was dismissed and the charge was some archaic misdemeanor which was pretty much ridiculous therefore dismissed.
So given that I'm trying to get my LTC, would this constitute something I would put on my application?
EDIT: so obviously it wasn't a Class B Misdemeanor. Those are retained for 20 years. Anyways a brotha was NOT GUILTY.

You have to list the arrest no matter what the disposition was. A dismissal with no conviction is not disqualifying. But not disclosing the arrest is disqualifying, as you are currently lying on your application. It's bullsh!t but I know so many people burned by this. Do not fail to disclose.

Also asks for offense date, court date, etc stuff I don't have since it was a minor arrest that was deleted and it was dismissed.
I am also sure that the violation was a fine more than anything.

It was total bull**** and was ridiculous too. I even have a District Court document saying that they don't have the record.
Thanks for the help.

The file itself may be gone but there's a record that there was a file.

So I'll fill it out but I genuinely don't know the charge.
brb charged for stealing my own car from a towing company when it was towed in error due to my university?

I'll just write a short essay on my application and produce further information if need be.

Why T Rex Arms holsters has to have 4+ week lead time? I really want one of their Raptor AIWB holsters.
I don't know why I don't just order the damn thing and wait. Literally EVERY time I go to buy an AIWB holster I see 4-8 week lead time and just click X on the windows. Then repeat the exact cycle every other month or so.

I did the same thing with the last trigger guard holster I ordered, checked company A "not in stock" and left, company B had it and I instantly ordered it.
They can claim it's "worth the wait" and I get that, but with so many holster companies out there the options are almost endless.
