I get the "Well I've decided since most of my shooting is sub 100yrds to just go with an entry rifle. What do you have" so I have a half dozen 500-600 entry rifles. Delton, DPMS, PSAs, and a SW sport II... I tell him $553 plus tax, out the door even $600. He's good with that so we do the deal. As an enthusiast I cringed and felt like I failed a good customer in guiding him properly. BUT as a seller, I was happy to get rid of a cheap black rifle as the market has completely fell out and prices on cheap rifles are dropping daily.

That one was free from my police academy as a prize. But also yes it's approved. All S&W makes and models are approved because Sigmas used to be standard and they never took out a blanket "S&W" as an approved manufacturer.

Still use the Colt in the patrol car though, but mostly just because it's easier. I have no problems with my Sport actually but I'd like to build a legit AR later, but here in CA I gotta get a letter from the chief though to get a non-CA compliant model and that will take awhile. boo

My last bike was a Honda XR650. Modded it up, geared it down and put DOT approved knobbies on it. It was more fun than the Harley or Sport bikes I've had. A little heavy compared to a motocross bike though.

Thinking about selling mine for the same general reason, other drivers are a-holes who don't seem to give a chit if I die by their hands. Plus I watched a documentary on the boston marathon bombing and realized how chitty life is when you lose a limb or two.

I have two.

One is an M&P Sport original SKU, the other is a Sport II. They are both good rifles. Not the same quality as my DD, but still good rifles for the money.

For anyone on a budget and looking to get into the platform, I think they earned a spot on the short list. Or anyone else who just wants one or two more rifles because rifles.
