He's trolling. Buy the 17 or a 19. Either would make a great range gun and home defense pistol. Almost everyone itt owns at least one 19, and pretty much no one here ever even actually shoots their guns so you've got as much familiarity as 90% of people itt.

Everything Meatie posts is autistic. Special is trolling you. Buy a G17 or a G19. G19 will be a better gun for you if you decide later that you want to concealed carry it.

Has anyone used Optics Planet? For some reason I remember hearing one of you had a bad experience with them but I honestly don't remember. They're offering me the XTR 5-25 for 1020, so that's likely who I'll go through if the Burris discount doesn't work out or takes a long time.

I remember hearing a few bad things about them from here.

Disregarded and ordered an optic from them that said was "in stock". Next day I get an email saying they are out of stock and would not be back in stock for a few months. It was a generic Holosun sight, not anything special. It was fairly easy to cancel the order, but will not order from again.

My Plano 42" all weather hardshell arrived today. Really hoping to set it up to be able to tote both my AR and Mossberg. That would be ideal, lessen the load of range trips. Thing is built like a brick shyt house, I love it.

I'll post updated shots of my AR once it gets its new stuff, this weekend sometime. Not that it matters, see as actual gun posts and pictures get ignored for troll accounts and circle jerking ayyylmao

Monte, you shot that in a residential area?? Lol

Man, all these recommendations for the Glock 17/19, tbh besides reliability, I think it's aesthetic. Gonna try shooting one and see if I like it though, but like I said when I see that deal on PSA again, if ever, no hesitations on purchasing it will be seen.

That being said, rent one at a range and see how you like it. Compare it to other semi auto pistols and see what feels best to you.
