I read about that, and bought a bunch of replacement parts, Wolff recoil springs, etc. But I haven't needed them yet. I was fully expecting some kind of crack or issue, which is why I put the most powerful 10mm ammo I could find through it. Over 700 ft lbs Underwood. But it took it. In full disclosure I did trade in a 10mm poly Tanfoglio towards this one, that wasn't defective, just not as sweet a shooter.

Edit: also, we are talking about made in Italy. Of course the quality is going to be inconsistent.

My EDC is a P01 Omega. I have dry fired a P01 decocker model that was customized by CZ Custom. That was an amazing trigger, about as good as my SP01 customized gun, but imo the safety trigger > decocker trigger, but not by a lot.

I'd like to check the RAMI 2075, it's their subcompact double stack.

So IMO the P01 is an awesome carry gun and is far superior to the G19. "Concealability" is basically they same, they're nearly the same size. IMO a factory P01 double action trigger > G19 factory trigger. P01 factory single action >>> G19 factory, I'd even say P01 factory single action > After market G19 trigger.
Millz, if the goal is to stay in Production....am I money ahead just buying a Shadow 2? Or an SP-01 and sending it to CZC?

Depending on what CZC does to it, it could knock you out of production. Their are some legal aftermarket parts you can have and stay in production. If you go through the USPSA rule book they're pretty thorough about what you can and can't do to still shoot production.

Yes, without a doubt. Not only do they hand polish everything, but in the rare event the gun has timing issues after everything is installed they'll get all that squared away as well. For what little they charge for the labor to install and polish, it's really not worth doing yourself IMO whether you have the tools and knowledge to do it yourself or not.

What is the main purpose of the safe? if you need to just keep kids out that should be fine. I have a liberty safe and I like it also the sturdy and fort knox safes are good quality. When I was shopping for a safe I didn't have that many firearms but I bought larger than I needed based on what everyone said and I'm glad I did because it fills up quickly. Also the location you plan on putting it is important. Realistically most safes can be broken into with the right tools and time. I think placing it somewhere hidden or where it would be hard to use tools to open is smart. I would definitely make sure and bolt it down and maybe place it near an exterior wall if you're worried about fire.

To keep out of easy reach, in case of a fire, and for when nobody is home, say on a trip, I don't want it be easy to get into. I'm looking at 2 liberty safes now. its just temporary for the next few years.

I goofed posting that cabinet but now I've learned. It's not fire proof and it's really light.

HDMR is the updated version of the DMR. 10 mil per rotation turrets (instead of 5), and a zerostop. The ERS I think is just tan. I don't remember any differences. They have an XRS that is like 4.5-30x I believe.

Mils would be my vote. I'm likely converting my NXS to mils as the moa/mildot combo is AIDS.

I'm looking for a variable power Mil/Mil scope w/ illumination and max magnification greater than 14x. This is going on my soon to exist AR-10.

Right now I'm looking into Vortex, but as you've noticed they're in between gens on the line that I'm willing to pay for (the PST). Special has me looking at the HDMR since it's 3.5 (about as low as I was looking for) - 21x (which is the high end of what I was considering.

Something between a 3.5-14x and a 5-25 was what I had in mind. Wife threw me off a bit when she mentioned wanting to buy me an ACOG when deployment ends, but the price range that I'm looking at is kind of in the "sub $1500" range.

I would do a Bushnell. Again, great zoom range and it's a good deal shorter than most scopes in its category.

I was talking to cz custom today and they were saying the shadow 2 isn't production legal yet, but it will be soon.

If I had no cz now, but wanted to get one, if get the shadow 2. Default out of factory it's amazing. If you want to spend the extra money, get it from cz custom and have them do trigger work, but tell them you want to keep it production legal. I'd pass on their Accu bushing imo

You should go to a store that specializes in selling safes sometimes you can get a good deal on used safes. Also make sure and compare online I ordered mine online and it was cheaper, had free delivery and I didn't have to pay sales tax.
