No I am just not deluding myself into thinking the city is good. You only think it is because you live here - if you lived in SF or Miami you'd think they were the best also.

Not one single, exclusive to Boston, reason has been given in this thread as to why it is better than any other city.

"great bars" Like great clubs and bars don't exist in NYC or Miami?
"great sports teams' Again, they are all over the country.
"historic" So isn't Charleston and SF - and that is just in the USA.

And for people saying Boston girls are hot. You are lying and you know it. Northeast is easily the least attractive region in the U.S. Anyone who has been across the country knows this.

I stand by my statement, you're clueless.

I have been around the country, Boston is a top city, best nah and I also didn't say it was the best. You have nothing positive to say and are very "deluded" thinking the city is crap.

Best will be subjective, we all know that, thats with anything in life.

Keep on hating though!

Bold are suburbs, now East and Southie would give a different picture than downtown would. Even the North End would.

How in the mother **** is Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan suburbs? Those are actual neighborhoods in Boston. I've lived their all my life by the way.

You see this is the thing about threads like this. Majority of people who talk about Boston don't actually live there or know anything about the city. It's mostly rich kids from NH and rich parts of MA who like to act like they know chit about Boston.

Its different, you know that. I know they are neighborhoods in Boston but how many neighborhoods actually get their own "Town like names"?

Does Wahlberg say he is from Boston or Dorchester? He says Dorchester and if you look up a listing its Dorchester, Boston, MA

Yes as in every other city in USA?

If someone lives in Brooklyn NY and ask them where they're from, they'll tell you Brooklyn. It's a city thing. You obviously a country side / suburban resident.

Plus especially those neighborhoods that were once considered hoods that people represent. If u ask someone from East Boston where they're from, they'll tell you Eastie because they rep their hood. That's a normal Boston thing and real ppl from the city of Boston will understand. I can tell u never actually lived in Boston for long.

City my whole life till I bought a home in NH.

We talk the same but view it differently, plain and simple. I would never call Roxbury, the "real" Boston, that alone would drop it to a bottom feeding place.

smh...sorry but I guess we have diff views. Boston aint all nice and dandy like some ppl make it out to be. Just ignorancy imo. The real Boston is segregated and split. There's a huge split between the poor and the rich. Like Roxbury vs South End. Huge difference. I remember Boston Public Schools, lmfao it will be rare to find someone who came from South End or one of the rich neighborhoods. Most students came from the poor hoods. There's always going to be people like you who think Boston is just places like South End, Back Bay, etc, basically all the rich places, while just ignoring the poorer neighborhoods that literally have a much bigger impact on the city. The rich side, South End, Back Bay, etc, is filled with a lot of travelers; rich people, rich college students, rich people who just moved here for jobs, etc. If you search top poorest, top richest, top segregated cities in usa, you will see boston on the list for all.

Actual Boston:

And Yes, real Boston residents are located in Roxbury, Dorchester, etc. All them youngins you see with Boston hats is Boston. That's the real Boston.
