congrats buddy!! Costco has pretty good deals on safes. They deliver curbside for free too. Think I paid about 550 for a safe with 45 min fire pro, expanding smoke liner etc, and a liner on the inside door for hand guns and mags, couple shelves inside, it's about 16" wide, 10-12 inch deep by 60" inside dimensions. The steel is 10g (.135") and then there's some composite material inside the steel to prevent deformation of the outter"shell" the walls are prob 2" thick. The locking system is an electronic lock with 5 1" diameter hardened bars that protrude about 2" into the Adjacent locking wall and the hinged are hidden. That's the best I can describe it. P sure it's the cabin executive series. I have a few thousand rounds of ammo 4 have gun bosses my range box 4 hanfguns and 5 rifles and shtf bag in there with room for prob 5-6 more rifles and a few more and hg's

I'm HOOKED Holy **** was that fun.

Shooting was better than expected.....my strategy/implementation needs a lot of work. Half the stages I thought I had the plan all set....and the minute that buzzer went off...fukin forgot everything I had planned.

Next month is an all qualifier match. I'm pumped

Will be mule deer hunting out in the western plains of Goodland, KS this year. Need a scope for my 300 WSM. Which of these 4 would you choose?

other options appreciated. But VortexOptics is about an hour from where I live and they give me a 40% discount off any price listed below.

eye relief, MOA turrets, parallax at 50 yards instead of 25 (won't make a huge difference but I highly doubt you'll be taking a <50 yard shot at any game animal with a 300 wsm), FFP, size/weight

this happened to me also - I think you just get used to having that extra 1-2 inches of jawline so it looks beta AF in comparison when it's gone

Don't count on a Viper. They're backordered for months, possibly even to next year. The only way you'll get a gen 2 is if you can find it in stock by someone else, but you obviously won't get the discount. I just went through this planning to buy a Viper utilizing the discount but they won't get them in for quite a while.

guy who went out with us yesterday was using a 6x24 viper and put a round on a 20" dia. plate between 800-900 yards with pretty bad conditions. gusty winds. looking through the glass it was a little fuzzy but i guess thats to be expected with that range.
