I think it's because they have nothing going for them so they find anything they can to pump that ego up and they choose their race. They're just self hating and take it out on minorities like some kind of superiority complex coping mechanism.

Where from, what kind? I had a betta condo once (4-way split betta tank), I have kept female bettas together in the past too in betta sorority tanks.. Was it a betta mac or something? Are you trolling?

Some of those are considered high end, and are pricey but I never heard of costing that much. Get him a 5.5 gallon aquarium. I think they're perfect for a betta and 1 tank mate like a snail. Males I kept in the condo as said, but in single tanks I kept with snails, and african dwarf frogs.

Pics of fish?
Bettas are high maintenance to be honest as you can't keep chit with them. Look pretty, but not even a very exciting fish IMO.

Going to get a new tank and a few rainbow snakeheads or rope fish within the next couple of month or so.

bettas are slow, sedate fish. Not too active at all. They're long flowing fins however can be quite tranquil though.

I have bought about 25 bettas for my kids over the past 3 years.

I won't buy anything more expensive than the $7 ones now.

currently have 2 that have been around about 6 months

Fish brah checking in. 130 for a beta is a ripped off oppie. i bought a pair of show quality halfmoon like 10 years ago for 150 shipped. Local fish store here sells them for 30 tops for halfmoons and a few dollar for regualr ones. But needs pics of it beta to determine quality

Just feeder fish but those won't last long!

Could silver dollars work with them? I had a school of 6 with my oscars and blood parrots before which looked good.


Only fish I keep now are in with my turtle tank. He has seen them as friends and not as food so far.
