We have flipped the power dynamic on its head but gave the power to the more irresponsible and illogical of the sexes. Back then a woman had no skills, and if her husband left her no man would want her. She was fuked. Now by just getting fuked she's set for 18 years or sometimes life. A woman has no vested interest in establishing a secure home for her children and she can leapfrog from one family to the next, cranking out bastards and loading up on child support/alimony.



If we want to fix this we need to slow waaaay down when picking the mother of our children. And place values above looks in addition to paying close attention to the family she comes from.

They both have providers and male figures in their life.

One I signed papers for the provider to legally adopt with my ex. If they split up, he has to pay child support for my kid.

The other one is a husband of a wife who wanted a strong goodlooking child. The husband isn't aware.


Hate on me if you want, but if you would pass up a chance to spread your genetic lineage with 0 consequence to your own life then you are probably a beta male.

The only thing that is a problem is that if he has to pay, then he should have visitation rights (unless he's a danger to the child). After all, he shouldn't just be on the hook for financial responsibility, but to to actually help raise his responsibility.

His attorney must be incompetent or the Court system just blows..or both.

there's no doubt this guy made a couple of bad judgement calls that night, but many, probably the majority of us have done something similar.

i hope this guy is alright. it's a sad story to read. the system is indeed messed up if that is the way he has been treated.

On one hand, he did take part in creating the life. So he should be partly responsible with helping out. But at the same time, this is so often abused by the women, and it honestly hurts all parties involved. Sometimes an early abortion is the best way. Yea, its "technically" killing a life, but being practical, nobody is hurt by it (other than emotional anguish if you really believe some multicelled fetus that still looks like bacteria has feelings and thoughts and will feel any pain). Not saying it should be 100% ok to abort at any time, because men would then start abusing the system. But I do think there should be some law that requires the mother to inform the man immediately if he is able to be contacted, and there can be a short period of time (2-3 weeks or so) that he can elect the abortion option before it has a brain or a heartbeat or whatever stage of developement, and once that time period elapses, they both must have deal with it. If not that, some kind of change, cause men rally get fukked on this one.

maybe ppl should use your brain before finishing inside ONS without protection and drinking beyond the ability of reason as an adult, society already does enough hand holding for people incapable of making responsible life decisions, while we dont want to just let them suffer, it certainly is a complex topic of morality and whatnot

Yeah and speaking in public is a huge deal for some people. That doesn't mean it's a rational fear. Compare a little discomfort for the woman with CREATING A NEW LIFE most likely born into a life of misery, completely ruining the life of the man AND also ruining her own life. Of course I'd rather not have an abortion than have one, but faced with the consequences of not terminating the choice is a no-brainer and not going through with it because it's traumatizing is about as rational as walking around with toothache your entire life because you're scared of going to the dentists.

This is one of my lifes biggest fears. I would seriously hate to be in his position.

The more i think about it the more vasectomy seems like a good idea. I have a girlfriend right now but i really dont want kids for a long time. And us Canadabrahs a vasectomy is covered by OHIP, its the reversal that costs 3-5k.
