All you *******s saying you don't like Dany ??????

Wut ???

She is the reason the show didn't turn to chit after the first season.

Her character is the reason I picked up the books and read them.

Being a mother to dragons is infinitely cooler than being a fukking cuck that can swing a sword lmao.

Spoiler!
Also, she's Jon Snow's aunt...

which means she ties the Starks to the Targaryans.
meaning now that the Starks and the Targaryans are the two most powerful living families in all of Westeros in blood ties.

If you guys think she's a chit character I dunno how the fukk you've been able to deal with Cersei because she does absolutely fukk all and has been doing so since Joffrey died

kinda disappoint in last season, they killed too many people "off screen" and wasn't that much gore / brutality compared to before. Looking forward to a more hardcore season this time around

4 writers are independently coming up with concepts for a spinoff.

Man, they would have ONE chance to get the final blow that sent Rheager into the water at Ruby Ford, with Robert's hammer smashing his chest in... that's one scene they would NOT want to fuk up.

Robert's Rebellion seems the most logical.

Prime Robert Baratheon

Lyanna Stark

Prime Ned Stark

Prince Rhaegar

The Mad King

Jon Arryn

Tywin

Prime Cersei & Jaime

Prime Stannis

More Littlefinger and Varys

They could do Aegon's conquest instead, but they messed up his Iron Throne in the show. Doom of Valyria is another good one, but CGI budget would need to be huge.

my only problem with prequels is we know what's going to happen already. most of the appeal of the show for me was not knowing what was going to happen next. that anyone could die at any time kept you on the edge of your seat and was in most cases shocking when it happened.

ex: I'm rewatching the series now and last night I watched the Mountain and the Viper. when the Viper was beating him and then got the Mountain on his back I was like, "DAYUM! people talked about this Mountain guy a lot but he was barely in the show and got killed by this little guy pretty quickly." then WAMM-O! he turned the Viper into a busted bloody egg. then when you thought the Mountain would die weezle dude turned him into a zombie or something.

it was nuts. so unpredictable and exciting. that being said I'll still watch anything GoT related since this show is GOAT.

You can know the big picture but still have a very fun and exciting show that covers it. There is still a lot of intrigue and mystery around the old tales that likely would be covered in the prequels and seeing some of those things in action would be badass. Of course some of that mystery could be lifted in the upcoming books/show of GOT but there is still plenty to make an exciting show. We've seen it done before. It may take some element of surprise out of it but the writers can add characters and change up some other things to add that wow factor and still keep the main story the same.

All awesome choices. And just to think - there can be a ton of NEW characters, that we've never heard of, that can be just as compelling and cool as the ones we know. I hope they actually do these prequels - not just tease us.

I almost cursed aloud at work after that trailer. Jorah Mormant did an interview where he said this season will be 7 episodes of straight to the point. No unnecessary buildup.

yeah i'm thinking the first scene we'll see is when daenerys lands on dragonstone. seems like they've built this season around the war with the lannisters, and i'm expecting the lannisters to be defeated at the end of this season. and then next season will probably be the white walker chit or whatever. i don't think jon snow will fight daenerys. they will probably have some deal like "jon snow gets to be king in the north" "daenerys gets to be queen of the iron throne" or something
