Out of all the places I've travelled I really do think I enjoy living in the US the most out of all of them.
Mostly due to the wide variety of styles of life we have here. North east vs mid west vs south vs west. Each has their own pros and cons.
I can't think of a country where I would prefer to live. Australia NAW UK hell naw Canada is cool....Nordic countries **** that weather....France **** that language and the people Spain no thanks Germany is alright.
I'd visit all those places and have and enjoyed them.

Because most Americans are idiots, srs. If they knew how badly the government cucks the middle class and cater to the upper, they would revolt. But those morons (esp on the misc) defend the rich and act like their lapdogs, even after getting screwed over by them (2008 Housing market crash/bailout, for example), hoping that they might get a pat on the head or something for doing so

I've been to Asia and Europe for lengthy periods of time. I've lived on both coasts including Southern California where you are. Americans put a ton of effort into everything that they do, as much or more than anyone else. I would suggest that you get better friends and a new family if that is your experience here in America.
Nobody has said that all Americans are great. The great thing about America is that you can be as great as you want to be. Those people you are attacking freely made the choice to be those things. They are doing exactly what they want to do and that's great.
Unlike you I don't judge my fellow Americans based on nonsense like that though. I judged you based on the terrible things that you were saying about my fellow countrymen, which was perfectly reasonable; whereas your attacks were not based in reality at all and are thus not reasonable at all.

Regardless of most political beliefs the majority of us believe in the idea that is America. We can't always articulate what it means..that's like distilling life down to a sentence. It's not arrogance.. we're aware we're not the best at everything. I'd call it irrational self confidence in a flag. Also, Nationalism is beneficial to feeling like you belong. It's like everyone cheering for the same team and by proxy we're all apart of the team. You can walk into any party with an American flag, chant USA!, and someone will get you a beer. Can't beat that feeling.
some good writing bro
basically, there are some good things about america, duh. but what you've boiled it down to is 'we're jingoistic because we like to be'. i'd say that's pretty accurate, really.
it's definitely a whole bunch of brainwashing. you kunts ever think about how you stand up every day from elementary school, put your hand on your heart, and 'pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america'?
pretty weird.

I'm honestly startled at some of the cuck comments ITT. Just LOL @ Americans who don't think we're the GOAT. "If you don't love it, leave it, let this song that I'm singin' be a warning. If you're running down our country man, you're walking on the fightin' side of me." ~ Merle Haggard

Strong sense of patriotism and agreatsense of sportsmanship. Every american city i've visted loves and supports their local football/basketball teams and that such a beautiful thing to see. It just brings everyone together and makes them feel a strong sense of unity. MIRIN

Trump supporters and most conservatives are patriots. Liberals hate America and want to turn it into a socialist cess pool like some of the other countries. At that point, I quit working a live off the government

RockPrah is back at it again...
Repping every red blooded American ITT.
I was just having this convo earlier with someone. You can think whatever you want but I berieve it's the greatest nation in existence right now. It's not perfect, but I'd rather be there than anywhere else as a place to live. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy traveling and stuff, but there's nothing like the USA.
All the negative posts are coming out of Cali, haha.
