This is why you don't judge a woman based on her text game, either good or bad. It's what happens in person that matters.

L2 pretty much never shows interest through text and we've been having a hard time getting together. At this point its been a month since I last saw her. We couldn't meet for lunch today and I was starting to think whatever we had was completely gone, but she sent this after we rescheduled for friday:

Me: We can go to XXX for lunch.
Her: That could work. Or we could be super cute and do a picnic. Or go to my place where there's air conditioning and play boggle.

The fact that she sent that makes me wonder why I assumed she wasn't interested anymore because of her lack of texting. She is totally still interested...and I think she is quitting smoking because of me, too.

Update:

T1 was extremely hot towards me since we met. Just flooding me with emotion and how scared she is at how much she likes me, etc, etc. I've totally had to pump the breaks with her and be detached from the situation because she just left her husband 6 months after an 18 year relationship and I told her I thought it was too soon and that I would be a rebound and tried to explain all the emotions she would be going through. She kept denying and telling me how perfect I was and how alike we were, which is true (huehuehue), but still, I was very hesitant on my end and told her I didn't want to sleep with her again in the short term, which she was fine with because she said she didn't just want our relationship to be about sex either.

Well, low and behold she went completely cold on me stating she was having a hard time with all this. So glad I'm not a slave to the pussy like most guys and kept my head on straight because I knew this was going to happen. I am not down for any of this hot/cold drama, so I'm done with her.

Also, had a great lunch with L2 on Friday. We cooked together, kissed, and made out, like the first week we had met, but now she's gone cold on me too.

No idea what happened, but I guess it's time to move on from that one too.

Fo-sho. Sent out a couple of feelers on tinder and match earlier today and getting bites. There's always something. I would prefer to find something special, but until then, just putting myself out there and doing my best to not get attached.

One thing I'm really pleased with is that my gut feelings are on point. I've pretty much been 100% accurate on ever thing I've been sensing. I can't seem to trust the women, but I can definitely trust myself.

You have to trust your gut. I almost gave up hope but then I found one that was right. Sadly it ended for unforeseen reasons unrelated to the relationship, but it was a whole different experience when it felt RIGHT. Chase that.

Yeah, no rush. Just tired of women "feeling" like it's right and trying to convince me early on, when we don't really know each other. I don't understand why women can't be more patient and take the time. I guess I'm getting tired of constantly being forced into the position of reason. Being mutually reasonable would be such a huge step up for me, but I can't seem to find it.

It's a blessing and a curse knowing how women "work." It keeps me from falling into a trap that many men fall into, but sometimes I think to myself I wish I was just ignorant and could enjoy the ride. I could have been getting laid 3 times a day for the past week if I wanted with T1. Our sexual chemistry was off the chain, but it would have just made me miserable when she went cold because I would have been more attached.

I f'in hate this about women. They will get all fluttery-eyed, profess their love for you, you're their world.. you mean more to them than anyone ever has.. they've never been this comfortable with someone before ... etc.

Then a few months later they're bouncing because they don't have feelings anymore. It's almost like clockwork. It really makes you suspicious of ANY woman's actions. Just gotta power through, stick to your intuitions, and good things will happen.

They do it because most guys fall for it, when it's actually a HUGE red flag. I try my best to hide my eye roll when they say how amazing and perfect I am after only knowing me for a week. It's like they are not even interested in knowing the real person they are dating.

I'll believe a woman actually thinks I am am amazing, if she waits 6 weeks to tell me for the first time.

Maybe you men can explain why women in their 20s stalk me. This happened 3 years ago, and it is happening again now. I block her on on app and she finds me another app.

These women both say the same:

- Their Dads are cops
- If I try to mess with them they will make my life miserable
- They will print out texts I sent to their current BFs 6 months in the past and send them to my work and family
- One lived in a wealthy neighborhood and the other is lower class/waitress, so it crosses socioeconomic levels
- I finally said look I am not interested in your boyfriend, I consider him to be a Deadbeat and a jerk and blocked her, then that just angered her more so she messaged me on WhatsApp


I don't even know if I should bother with the police with this one as she is out of state.

I guess the problem with seeing younger men is that they date younger women, who literally go insane. I would NEVER EVER call a woman fat, c***, b*** yet these women just deluge me with these insults.

Damn I feel sorry for you guys dating this age group.

Now to delete all social media because I am so disgusted by this.......and my therapist has me tracking daily on a diary card if I respond to her or ignore and I report back with results. It's so hard to ignore when someone attacks you and makes up lies, and thinks I am still interested in her white trash boyfriend. Grrrrrrrrr.......I am posting here to keep from responding to her.

Latest message I blocked on Instagram says that Warren Sapp just asked her out on a date and she doubts that would happen to me because I am fat with no butt. I had to look up Warren Sapp.

How does some former football player my age wanting to sex her make her special???!! Just lol

I never, ever experienced women like this when I was in my 20s and 30s. I don't know what is wrong with Gen Y but to experience this two times, plus countless other threatening messages that weren't as bad, is WAY too much drama.

28 is goat, but they all either don't have kids and want them or have young kids which I am not interested in.

UPDATE:

So I sent out 5 emails on Match.com and all friggin 5 responded. I was expecting maybe 2? On top of that I am managing an 8U all star team and when I picked one of the kids the commissioner was like, "Dude, nice pick, his mom is a 10." So I looked her up on ******** and good lord she is hot AF. We even have common friends. I might have to try and chase that down, too. LOL!

Yup, I drop men once they turn 30

I just can't deal with social media and drama from these young girls. It's like they all talk from the same script, too.

This one just wants to monkey branch and have 2 guys fight over her. I just blocked her again. She can have her love triangle, thank you.

I went through a REALLY bad period of life at work and home and really fell off the deep end with the ambulance and police at my house. Friggin nightmare. The neighbors are all upset over seeing this and keep asking what the heck is going on. Now I'm back in therapy after a 3 year break and becoming stabilized again.

I forgot how awesome my DBT therapist is. Expensive but worth every penny because she is rational when I am completely irrational.

Well who knows if these 28 year old women of yours would go through your phone and come after me for having lunch with you? lol

Just tell them what they want to hear to get them off your back and then ignore everything. When you push back, you are fueling them even more. You should call 5-0 for them involving your fam like that and make them aware, especially if you have texts for proof. They should stop real quick then.

But I don't do anything special. I am just me and I am completely realistic about expectations. It's the women that can't control their emotions and I'm never going to be a savior or an enabler ever again.

I feel every woman I date is either too hot or too cold. I just want warmth with a burning fire underneath. Why is that so hard to find? Do women have any idea what healthy attachment is?

Okay, so I went ahead and texted L2 yesterday. She seemed excited that I texted her and then I asked why she never responded earlier this week to make plans and she said she never saw the text when I sent it, but see's it now and very sorry. She offered up to meet today, but then she remembered she had an appointment that she had scheduled in between her clients and would get back to me. She called me this morning minutes ago and said she tried to reschedule, but she couldn't because they would charge her a cancellation fee. She had a client come in and said she would call me back later. I also offered up tomorrow night, so we'll see.

Just before Lindsey called me Fabi msged me on google hangouts. Said she owned me an apology. I told her she doesn't. It is what it is, and it's in the past. We chatted for a few minutes and that was it. I wasn't really interested in keeping a conversation going.

You would be lucky if we even became friends because we do not see eye-to-eye at all. IMO you need to give others more compassion.

I didn't ask to have generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). In some ways having GAD is a blessing. My grandmother had it and she graduated top of her class at UC Berkeley. I was also a top student and people at work say I am a joy to work with and very thorough. Sometimes it can be like OCD and I go overboard in terms of perfectionism.

On the flip side, we are more sensitive to our environment and small things overwhelm us, and we can become "sick" and feel physical symptoms of stress with massive stomach pains and chest pains. Some days I feel like I have the flu and it's anxiety. It can be a blessing and a curse.

What do you call someone that consistently gives compassion and tries to help someone that never takes their advice and continues on the same path anyway?

I gave you plenty of compassion and (good) advise for a long time. You chose to side with theenablers and still do.

How many times should you ask a girl out before stopping. The answers were legit to why she can't go. Didn't offer a counter-date though. Seems that she's genuinely interested (hinted to me that she likes exploring nature and stuff). I haven't dated in a while (had an on and off relationship with my ex gf for around 3 years.). Talk everyday.

Good call. I mean im not really dating but this is somebody i've known for a while and we just recently started talking. I just wanted to test out the waters.
