I've NEVER met a cop who could admit to a mistake. Homeboy could have been gunned down while quietly reading at the library and other cops would do some olympic level mental gymnastics to justify it.

The fact that her gun was drawn on someone in the first place for having their car break down is fukin retarded, regardless of the events that followed.
go ahead and reach into the car when a cops telling you to put your hands up
It's common sense, there's someone pointing a gun at you for f's sake

Yeah, I know, your car just broke down, you shouldn't have a gun on you

But thats not what happened was it? Guy was given commands while having guns pointed at him and none of those commands involved going back to his vehicle and reaching into it

Who doesn't pull over? I would say someone who's car is broken down and can't...

Unless he was walking around threatening people or trying to rob a store then I ask again, why was he considered a threat in the first place? Literally seems a case of 'doing blah blah while being black'.

Also we have plenty of guns here, however two key differences:

1) we do our best to check people aren't bat chit crazy or complete idiots first

2) we don't allow handguns without a reason or semi automatic weapons

Never said his actions were the best, from both videos it is impossible to tell the exact timing of shots, commands and what he was doing.

The fact that it got to that point however is 100% the police officers fault for the way it was handled to begin with.

There was a thread not too long ago, where I think it was BustaCapp who posted that video from an episode of Cops. Women comes at the cops with a knife, and they take hurt down, disarm her. You see this frequently on episodes of Cops, when things get dangerous, Cops are still disarm minded first.

What's going on now that Cops have become so trigger happy and people support this? I'm literally confused. Because of a few bad criminals who get away with double tap? But we going to pretend like that has never always happened? Cops were always supposed to be disarm minded and citizen first, not "you fukc with the police, we unload a clip into your chest" minded.

so take it up in court and live
sure the cops took it there, but he pushed it to the point of getting shot
He has responsibility in this

Wheres the video from the first cruiser when it was only the female officer at scene before the other cops arrived. Seems like a good couple minutes of him not following directions prob occurred....

Most of it is reeled from older episodes. And I'm sure most of the bad chit they don't show on TV, despite a few exceptions, but okay.

they have never shown the bad chit
I'm not saying cops are perfect
Recnt disturbing One is where an older black guy is running away and a cop just shoots him down from behind. Murder

I would agree in this case, if they guy followed all orders and she executes him while he his hands are against the car, but that wasn't the case.

Thinking you understand real life potentially dangerous situations based on what you see on the TV show cops... classic.

Bringing up WOMEN clearly armed with knives instead of guns and how they got taken down by multiple grown MEN instead of gunned down on a TV series in which the cops know they are being filmed... then acting like that's the exact same level of threat as a non-compliant adult man doing shady chit. Good god, man.

It is very obvious when people who speak to these topics in a bleeding heart fashion have zero real world experience with it. I am not a cop, but I work in a high security correctional facility that houses many of the most dangerous people in the state (and country) that has been corrupted by PC/liberal utopia bullchit. Within our walls, we get jack chit to defend ourselves - no riot gear, tasters, pepper spray, or even tactical gloves. We get our bare hands and each other, all with a very judgemental eye on us no matter how wrong the inmate is who is attacking one of us. Note that 90% of our inmates have done prison time, and over 50% have done time in a max security prison. These are not scrappy inmates.

Let me know the next time you have someone throw a full bottle of pop straight at your nuts in response to your commands (reasonably stated) that they follow Doctor's orders to abide by their caffeine plan (because they go nuts off one Mt. Dew) and get back to me on how you can judge all this chit so well from your armchair, pal.

Sadly, America has a permanent class of citizens who remain outside productive society and without the means to break their cycle of self-imposed failure.

So, apart from breaking down slightly over the white line, no one can provide a legit reason for the man to have a gun point at him in the first place?

Sure, he may have not followed directions and certainly paid the price, but anyone who argues the cop was 100% in the right from the start is either a potato or has a scary outlook on law enforcement.

That's not really a nice thing to say about police, most of them try to do what's right.

Guy walks back to his vehicle at gunpoint, and reaches in it while being instructed not to. I think she shouldn't have pulled the trigger but this is what happens when you start playing games with guns pointed at you.

I think a huge problem is that a vast majority of people have no concept of what a Law Enforcement Officer goes through on a daily basis because if they did, they would be a bit more cooperative and understanding. Just go on youtube or liveleak and look up the police videos and you'll see just how fast things go from "normal" to life and death, and consider if you were in the officer's shoes.

Here is for you asshats that wonder why they don't let people go back to their cars. In this video, the guy isn't being violent, just acting like an asshat, like a drunk or he's just high. Seems like he thinks it a big joke. Goes back to his car, gets a rifle, and kills the cop. One sign somone is about to do something insane is they are acting insane, like this, and the video above.

They don't "give people a break" and maybe that's why there aren't a lot more videos like this. There are tons of videos out there that are even worse. Today's LE's would have lit that crazy bastard up the second he tried going back in his vehicle and if that officer had done so he would still be around today.

Crime is a lot lower today than it was 20 years ago, but it seems the criminals today are much more extreme.

lol wat the fuk are you going on about? You see tons of videos of someone coming at a cop with a knife, or even just walking by/being exposed with a knife and not complying and then get unloaded on. Same with dangerous people in general that you find on the internet, are somehow solved by trigger happy police work.

While turn on an episode of Cops, and these same/similar scenarios are dealt with a lot more professionally, where the cops are very disarm minded. Cops actually make police look good, while all these internet videos make them look absolutely retarded. And you talk about the cop being filmed so performs different, uh, most of these cops have dashcam footage, why the hell else would their be video?

women should not be on patrol. any average guy can take on 99% of women in hand to hand, she has a lower threshold for fearing for her life.
