The point is. I know several poker players who have had their roll taken while in transit. I know car collectors personally who had their car purchase funds taken from them during a traffic stop.
Cops do this chit all the time especially on the highway.
I'm sick of the government overstepping the boundaries it was founded on.
Yes if I had a big enough roll I'd put 2.5 mil in cash in a dufflebag and go to Vegas for the WSOP. I wouldn't wire the money.

What kinda fu#Ed up logic is that? Again, abuse of power by government in the name of the (failed) war on drugs. Suspicious? Absolutely but the burden of proof is on the authorities to show $ was from illegal activities, not for her to prove it was not. There's been a long list of people who had to go to court to get their own damn money back when no crime or charges existed for the person they took it from and that's BS.

Before I was married I didn't have a bank account for years. I paid all my bills in cash in person. Gas, food, repairs. I often walked around with 2 or 3k in my pocket all the time.

Agreed as usual.
I'd also rather take the "risk" of someone transporting drug money than to have people like DHawkeye have the unquestioned authority to take from whoever/whatever they want all because of suspected trafficking or stupid **** like that. The thought of a low IQ badge brigade rolling around robbing people while pretending they care about the Constitution is a scary thought.

My money isn't instantly given to me by bank number two. It takes days and days and if I remember correctly there isn't a maximum time that they must give you your funds.
Now if I have to make a deadline where I need that money and I now can't get to it because it's stuck in limbo what good is it to me now?
