If it were me though, I would also be looking for subtle ways to make her jelly and let her know that her time is expiring unless she acts fast. ie) "can't tonight, already have plans with a friend", "my night was good, just hung out with a friend and you?, "just catching up with an old friend" etc. Then you see them and they be like "so are you free tomorrow too?"
yup.
And when they ask me to hang the first time, "I got plans" and don't give them an alternate time. lawl.
this is only for women who wasted my time in the past though.

50% of how I get into her head is by making her wait holmes. I always hear "I seriously CAN'T stop thinking about you". Big part of it is because of the mind fuk and the best part is she has no clue its happening because I execute smooth AF, no e-brag.

Hot topic being discussed, its at its peak, aaaaand she waits a few hours for response. This especially while I am at work and can chalk it up to "being in a meeting" if she asks lmao. I will always pull this as well when she asks something along the lines of "I want to see you".

True, but he was actually waiting for a response from me and I forgot he was waiting. lol.

Lol no worries, sometimes I have to remind you though because you have forgotten in the past. Thanks for the reply man.

Anyways I have a relevant piece of advice for this thread. I have heard many guys say that if a girl gives brief/blah text takes a long time to respond she is uninterested, and to move on. Also, calling her out on seems butthurt by misc ideals but I just tried for the sake of that, calling her out on her blandness and now she is all over my D lol

I get this point man, no doubt. But I always wonder, if I have to fake being busy all the time, am I showing my true genuine self to her. What happens when we are in a relationship and I still have to try to fake this being busy thing. I did it before and it becomes uncomfortable and anxiety provoking for me

If you're trying to fake it, try putting your phone on "do not disturb". I do it at work anyhow, and now it's just a habit that I never turn it off of that mode. Thus, sometimes I genuinely forget to check my phone for a few hours because I get caught up doing something else instead of being a goon and waiting by my phone. Obviously let friends/family know to just call twice if it's an emergency so it will bypass the DND mode.

Oh I read this as online dating "I've also had FWB texting the men they meet off online dating "sweet dreams" before we upstairs to bang. lol."

You are making me nervous about over-40 dating.

Especially after I had drinks with those creepy online guys who talked about hitting on their son's 18 year old girl "leftovers", and one used a gesture of fapping when he spoke of a political figure. Several others told me how they cheated on their ex-wives first date. Who says /does that on a first date!

So far so good with the 48 year old. He doesn't say creepy things like those guys or make it sound like he's a huge player, but I met him via friends of friends and not online. His friends always said what an awesome guy he was, as a former firefighter he was always helping people out even though he works long hours. We will see how this proceeds as he seems really into me.

What's nice about him is that he has a daughter around the same age as mine. The worst was when 25 year old childless men tried to give me parenting advice. Sigh. We also enjoy a lot of common interests like diving and sailing, music, and he's on my favorite Netflix series. I'm so bummed I didn't meet him when he filmed it a few months ago and they signed him to a contract for Season 4, but then canceled the series.

To clarify, some online date, most don't.
the FWB does online date and that's why i mentioned her specifically.

The rest are just party girls in their early 40's acting like they are in college soaking up as much attention as possible and most men my age are not any better.
the desperation.

There are currently two women from my social circle i hooked up with last summer multiple times then both basically ghosted me and got with some other guy bf/gf like.
The one would hit me up periodically to flirt. I ignored her and she eventually stopped.
The other i have multiple mutual friends with and she sends me pics of us from when we hung out and tries to flirt sexually with me.
I just get rid of her and tell her i'm busy to avoid texting but still keep it friendly.

Would never GF either woman up based on how they have BF's but are seeking attention from a guy they banged at best and looking for a backup plan at worst because i'll end up being that guy.

Yeah I mentioned in that other thread that the women my age who divorced kicked the ex-husband out to live in a crappy studio while she got the house, alimony, guys over whenever the kids were asleep, and always having drinking nights with the girls.

I thought that was a horrible way to treat the father of your children!

Everyone on here said those women must be Bay Area tennis club women. Sounds like it's more universal than that. I personally would go to church gatherings to get away from the partiers but you may not be religious. It's hard to find quality people out in the secular world, as they are driven by drinking, the cawk carousel: just plain hedonism.

That's why I'm trying to change my life and life according to my religion and not to my primal instincts.

It is tough when the women around you or people at work still want to go out and party all of the time, so I just limit myself to 2 drinks and when they push for shots, say no.

most of these women DO go to church.
So do some of the men I know.
The more they mention God in every day talk the more morally corrupt they actually are.

My problem is i either meet party girls or women who don't drink and don't want a guy who drinks.
I drink and i like to go out once in a while or hang with friends and drink.
summer concerts are coming up now.

i've met a few decent women who didn't drink but were ok with me drinking but we have other incompatibilities.

There is a huge difference between calling her out on being uninterested vs being bland/boring. One is being needy, the other is forcing her qualify herself to you.

Savior mentality. He'll ignore all the red flags thinking he can make it all better. Poor guy.

You did it, DLB. You found your enabler.
The worst was when 25 year old childless men tried to give me parenting advice. Sigh.
You know your parenting skills are pretty bad if a 25 year old with no kids think you are doing it wrong.

I need to screen capture this chit but i wanted to block the chick before she could respond to me and didn't have time. LOL!
chick messages me on bumble.
it's 2 screens long of things about her and what she is looking for.
no sentence structure and very little punctuation so it was hard to read on my iphone 5 screen.
Clearly a copy/paste message she has prepared.

I skim through it and see she mentions she is confident in her curves, but has no body pics. lol

so we chat a bit.
she cleans houses.
no education.
but has a car.

She asks me if i'm divorced and have kids and how old they were.
I tell her then ask "how about you?"

and she replies with "well, if you bothered to read my first message you'd know that"
i replied that her first message was very long and difficult to read on my phone, that i don't understand why she can't just answer the question and that I was just making conversation.

she responded with "read my first message, i'm not looking for conversation, good luck"

so i said "lol, i can tell why you are single"
she started to respond but i blocked her first. hahahaha.

in other news, setting up the outdoor keggerator tonight for a party tomorrow.

Had a weird thing happen last night. Date goes great, i go in for the kiss at the end, I am given the cheek. I laugh it off, i then immediately sense she grips my hand tighter than usual, we stroll for a few seconds more, and as the her train arrives, she leans in and again offers me her cheek, then right after kisses me proper. Thought it was funny, not sure what the girl was trying to do here.

Didn't lose any gave her the closet in the spare room. Nothing rearranged but did buy a couple new things.
The trouble with being punctual is that nobody's there to appreciate it.

Women who think they are "fluent in sarcasm" have no sense of humor. SRS.

Also, what did you say?

Update:

Lunch with Fabi went well, we hung out for about 2 hours. She picked up the bill because she felt she owned it to me. She did most of the talking. I figured out why she got back in contact with me without really asking. Long story short, a recent event made her realize she has a long history of putting people out of her life and never looking back and she didn't want to be like that anymore, so she decided to get back in contact with a few people she did that to, and I was one of them. I don't think she has any romantic interest in me and her intentions originated out of guilt. I was worried I might still have feelings for her, but there was really nothing there. I am pretty clouded by the way she abruptly broke up with me, so I guess friends it is. She is getting me field level Giants tickets from her boss for me and my boys and she wants to come watch them play at their all star tournament.

The woman I was supposed to meet for coffee, but didn't because I was sick and she was going in vacation, msged me last night letting me know she was back, so she seems like she is still really interested in meeting up.

I have known this for a long time but usually they are okay with me. It absolutely pisses me off when bishes or people in general don't respond back to texts or flake
