b...but Kieran Loveridge has 'potential'(original sentencing judge's own words). Giving him a lengthy sentence for a one punch(he punched 3 or 4 random ppl earlier on the same night) manslaughter would ruin that. He's already stomped on an inmate's head in jail and started ****ing a female prison guard. Dude is a straight up savage.

*At least his original sentence of 5yrs was doubled on appeal. I wasn't even aware of that.

i feel bad for the dude but it is a suitable punishment for his history of violence and I'm pretty sure he's classified as a dangerous weapon because of his mma background and psychiatric history. Dude is incredibly messed up psychologically, read somewhere that his father died in his arms while he unsuccessfully performed CPR.

I thought the dude was on the clean path when he hooked up with rogan on the podcast, shame.

I'm sure it has been said in these 5 pages, but yes, the punishment exceeds the crime on paper.

HOWEVER

Inherently violent people should all be locked up, nobody wants a loose cannon like this in society. I have known people like this, and when you are around them you know they are just a ticking timebomb, Nothing good comes from him walking among us.

There's no rehabbing him. He's an animal and doesn't need to be living in a civilized society.

Also, our country seriously looks down on violent crimes that are committed during the commission of another crime. Attempted murder plus rape will typically get you life. Had he murdered her and raped her, he would have been looking at the death penalty in the states that still use capital punishment.
