Half reppers, people who don't respect personal space, people who try to "help" you when you are already better than them at the exercise.

One time while I was on elliptical machine, the guy next to me moan super load on elliptical machine. I can understand people make sound when lifting heavy weights. But elliptical machine? Come on! In my mind, I want to slap his face the whole time...

Guilty of this. I don't track anything because ain't no time for that. I assume the 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight is correct? I'm nowhere near it but gains have been ok enough for me to disregard it.

Fat dude in a stringer doing 10,000 sets of curls in front of the mirror flexing and moaning. Strutting around and mean mugging everyone. Then proceeds to do "cardio" which consists of walking on a treadmill at 2mph for 10 minutes.

95% of the people that go to my gym do pure isolation exercises and literally 0 compound lifts and make zero progress.

People that are doing circuit training and leave their sh*t on like 10 pieces of equipment they aren't currently using. If I want to use whatever it is that their stuff is on, I literally pick their sh*t up and toss it and begin using the equipment (srs), have yet for anyone to actually confront me on it.

People that leave their stuff on the benches. Sweatshirts, water bottles, etc. Put it on the floor. Sure I can ask them to move it, but I shouldn't have to; it shouldn't be there in the first place.

Kind of similar to people who sit on benches and dick around on their phones. One set of bench presses followed by 7 minutes of texting. Nobody should have to tell you to get the fuk off, you just shouldn't be doing that **** in the first place.

Yeah I curl in the squat rack all the time srs

Feels alpha af curling an Olympic bar. Try to avoid doing it unless there's at least another free Squat rack though, just to avoid pissing people off.

Purely trivial stuff but...

******* crossfitters doing step up's in the FREE WEIGHT area taking up a bench or two while it's busy.

Other *******s that do bench dips with one bench while placing their feet on the bench next to it, also in the free weight area.

People that try to do splits on the hip-flexor machine.

People that use the assisted pull-up machine to do leg press-downs.

People that lay down and use the Smith machine to do leg presses.

Circuit trainers.

People that load up a hammer-strength machine and proceed to do three or four quarter reps with ten minute cellphone breaks between sets.

People who are too cheap to buy a water bottle and leave their chit laying around or on a machine or squat rack to get their stupid ten-minute water fountain breaks.

Asians in groups of five or more taking up every type of the same machine for thirty minutes at a time.

People who leave their apple cores in the cup holders of the cardio machines. One, wtf eats an apple during their workout, and two why be so lazy as to not throw away your core?

Racquetball players leaving their stupid huge bags and gear all over the place.

People that load up calf machines or the leg press machine to bust out bursts of pure momentum eigth-reps.

"Kickboxing" guy who ambushes everyone in the gym trying to sign them up for classes.

Probably so much more but it's what comes with a commercial gym.

People that don't rerack the weight in the proper spot.

Brb putting 60lb dumbbells where it says 30lb

Why can't people just put the weight back where they got them.

DYEL *******s who eyeball me while Im doing shrugs and quietly judge my form
Aviless *******s who complain about me working out near the dumbbell rack
*******s whining about me slamming some weights after a heavy set
retards who have problem with me chillin nude in the locker room
DYEL *******s having thoughts on my squat weights and me pumping biceps before a night out

on a serious not the only thing that bothers me is people who don't rerack their weights. Although I do rack 'em if I use them or the equipment around, so I'm cool with that. I admire most of the people in the gym, especially the old ones and the fat ones - it's much easier for me to be there and get pleasure from lifting.
I guess I won't like people giving me their thoughts and advises but then again I'm with headphones 100% of the time so people don't talk to me, in general - happens rarely and most of the time it's an old man or a sloot asking me to help to remove some weights from a bar or machine.
You can always ask the man who curls on the squat rack to use different equipment because you need that for squats. You can mind your own form and lifts unless you're a PT. Use headphones if you don't like the music. Use them if you don't want to hear people moan or scream or whatever the sound they're making that helps them finish their sets. Of course people will sweat, carry your own towel and you'll be okay..

Number one is the crews of twinky DYEL ****s (usually look about 18-22) that come in together with their hats and stringers and stand around one area or machine (usually anything involving biceps or triceps) doing one set of ego lifts with terrible form every 15 minutes while they take turns with each other.

The middle aged women who leave things all over about three pieces of equipment and then rotate between them when the gym is busy.

*******s who curl in the squat rack or curl standing right in front of the dumbbell racks.

Women taking up the only leg press so they can rep it with no plates.

Could continue

damn near every post in here happens in my gym LOL...

but biggest rustler is when people dont rerack the weights in the correct spot/leaving it where ever the fck they finished
-see 100lb DB in the 10lb-20lb DB area wtf and vice versa
-45lb plates where the 10lb and lower weights are pegged (have to unrack 45,45,25 to get to a 10lb plate)
-clusterfuk of dumbbells (ranging from 30lb to 80lb) being used for this "ab" machine, brb only seen fatties use this machine

People that take 10 minutes between sets and hog everything.

Selfish people that never allow you to work in, but expect others to let them work in.

People who are obviously not natty but say they are LOL
