Yeahh... I know you're right. I'm ALMOST willing to risk it for this girl cause I really like her but like you say, if it doesn't work then it's LDAR time for good.

This is how I feel too only it's not "just" a stigma. Even if the fear is overblown or irrational I'd still become pariah on the sexual market. It's gonna be a blood test boyo, they measure anti-HSV1&2 antibodies. That'll show exposure. The sad truth is that most people have one or the other. Both can infect oral and genital tracts, and much of the genital HSV these days is type 1, so if any girl has had a cold sore in the past (all of them) you most likely have it and are not really giving yourself any new information.
