i don't really know if we should be drinking milk or not but i know we should stop posting bullchit links and claiming them as credible sources smh. it literally took me 30 seconds of research to call that entire article into question, why the phuck are people just blindly reading chit and agreeing with it just because "a doctor" is quoted.

Most people pay very little attention to their body until they're on a hospital bed dying. Cow's milk is not a great food source because the human body is simply not designed to properly digest it outside of early childhood. The body literally loses its ability to break down milk properly once you outgrow your mom's titties. People are not getting gassy or messed up because of some tiny amounts of growth hormones left in the milk (pro tip - growth hormone is not able to be absorbed by your intestines, that's why BB's have to inject it), people are gassy/get diarrhea/are constipated by it because your body is literally not designed to break it down properly. When you are older, your body actually sees it as a moderate toxin. Most people don't notice this because they have such poor standards for their health that they just accept feeling like crap, ****ting horrible crap in the toilet, farting, etc. They just accept that as life, when in fact it is their bodies telling them to stopping consuming something that is bad for them. There are variations - isolate protein powder is OK for most people. But for the most part, eat meat, fish, veggies, fruits. That's what our bodies have evolved to eat.
**Eat lots and lots of birds. The smaller the bird, the more compact its protein content. Parrots are great sources for protein.**

I go through 2 liters liters of milk in around 3-4 weeks, so it's not a lot. Usually with cereal and oats. I break out a lot if I consume too much diary too. Now and then I will have a "swig" of milk but my consumption of it is very low. I agree with the sentiment that everyone ignores signs and when it's too late they all of a sudden become practicing experts. I am going to start buying 1 liter milk now, and just keep it for coffee/cereal.

You think all adults are lactose intolerant OP?
There is something called Lactase persistence which is an adaptation to animal husbandry and domestication. If you can't digest lactose then the genetic jakes on you. Good luck with your rice and pea protein gainz.
brb drinking a cappuccino.
INB4 racist... Danes, Dutch, Germans, Swedes, and Brits have the lowest incidence of lactose intolerance.

You do realize that even if the above is true at any percentage that lactose reduced milk is for sale. Therefore, lactose intolerance no longer applies. Any questions?

Agreed. A year ago I got blood work done due me feeling very ill at times, and results suggested I had lactose intolerance.
People need to realize a lot of the chit we consume we did not consume throughout previous times and dont have any need to do so today.
Private businesses have pushed a lot of products on people to make them feel like it is a 'basic need' for a healthy and optimal life, and that its completely normal (and important) to consume for us, like milk among other stuff.
The same is true for a lot of mulitvitamins etc, miscers think they NEED a multi with 5000% of daily suggested intake (LOL) while studies have shown such amounts are actually DAMAGING for you in a lot of ways. I know friends that swore to orange triad and other poisonous chit because they read its good for you, while they said they felt like chit when taking it (brb 'its just because of certain ingredients are from shellfish and lots of people are allergic to it, but the vitamins are really good for you').
Same goes for antioxidants - people think its healthy and reduces cancer, while decade llong studies with several thousand people in them have actually shown that people who take it actually have 20% INCREASED cancer rates compared to people who don't take it.
There is no good systems that prevent this 'fake news' to manifest in peoples minds, so people spend their lives thinking its is important and learn other people around them the same, and businesses are heavily incentived to spread it themselves. I'm a marketing brah and know the laws and stuff that happens behind the scenes so I'm a lot more aware than most people
Cliffs: people get cucked into thinking they have to buy certain products for a healthy optimal life, while in reality its doing the opposite.

Wasn't there a whole campaign to make milk more appealing to people because farmers were having trouble selling it? Most of my friends and family experience some sort of ill effects from ingesting milk. I get diarrhea and become bloated and lethargic. I know a few people who had IBS/Crohn's and returned to good health after stopping consumption of dairy. The only dairy product I consume now is Whey Protein Isolate.
Didn't the WHO find that nations with the highest dairy consumption also have the highest rates of bone fractures? I don't have time to do any research right now

I use to guzzle milk. Started having issues progressively for a year, but I think it has more to do with the massive caloric increase I've also undergone. Tried GOMAD then raw egg whites and after, that finally made me change my ways - I had a bad bad episode. I can now digest it again, but man, I think it makes my farts smell weird ( if its from that).
I've heard the ability to process milk lessens as you age (the quantity). I wonder if whey taxes the enzyme required to digest it, so if you hit a breaking point in your gut, you'll get lactose intolerant symptoms. If that's the case, wonder if that applies to whey protein? I drink 40-80g of protein of that a day.
Even though Soy gets a bad rap (zomg xenoestrogens!), I think drinking it in moderation is a good thing to switch up (cow milk + soy). Clarence Kennedy sold me on a more diverse amino profile (he was just going over his diet really), so I included soy along with a premium organic nut blend (no peanuts, just a variety of no roasted expensive nuts - $20 a lbs).

IMO it is true that your tolerance reduces with age.
Also being lactose sensitive doesn't mean that all dairy is equal. Milk and real ice cream are definitely "sometimes" foods for me, but cheese and yogurt are no problem.
Digestion in general takes a hit AFAIK...less stomach acid, less enzymes.
