I gotcha, but this was on the fairly bad side of racism. He wasn't just using the word, he was showing disgust for a race. But at the same time I'm inclined to let it go, because like you sort of implied, there are people of every race who are disgusted of other races. Plenty of asians and black people find mingling with white people to be disgusting and bad. Plus Rich was just upset. When one's upset, the filter kind of comes off.

Showing hatred toward an entire race is short-sighted and ignorant, allowing it to fester is never healthy because all it does it encourage that person to seek out "like-minded" individuals to form hate groups so they can feel comfortable espressing their hatred in public.
