I condemn what he said. Its never ok to use the N word in that manner. The N word is used historically to dehumanize black people to make them appear less than human, less than a dog. It dates back to a violent period in our history when blacks were hung many times based on false accusations. All a person had to do was accuse you as a black man of a crime. This was enough to have a lynch mob kill you. They would take pictures of the dead body and send them out as postcards. Sometimes they would desecrate the body. This is an ugly part of tribe mentality. Its the same mentality the nazis used to kill the jews - the idea that because you are different you are lesser, inferior, nothing.

I feel bad that what he said may affect a black persons feelings or make them think this is what all white males think. I like most people want to make the world a better place in my own way with tools ive gained through understanding. I apologize to any black miscers that think im defending racism. But I will reiterate my point of view. I dont think Rich is inherently a racist person based on what ive seen of him. About 90% of the human populated has had a racist conversation at one time or another in their life. Of course, not all of them are super violent and super vulgar.

Think about it for a second. Do you never have stereotypical thoughts? It could be called bigotry, but now society is trying to tell us that stereotypical thoughts are no longer bigotry, but instead, racist.

Anyway, as already said, he's pretty young, even though he looks 20 years older than he is. As we get older and wiser, some of the stereotypes might hang around, but you certainly don't feel the need to make them a topic any longer.
