I don't know what these cops are thinking. They know there is a camera right on their dashboard, and they know they are standing right in front of it. You can't just apply a chokehold and start dropping haymakers.

I enjoyed the beat down, but the ground n pound was completely out of line. No other 1st world country cops pulls this kind of stunt on their own citizens.

wtf... kid stops to ask a question and cop tackles him and beats his face in?

All cop had to do was tell the kid he was under suspicion of DUI.

cop was just mad that he wasn't listening to him and apparently that makes it totally fine to just beat his ass.

Good thing the copy was a lil biatch puss puss and his 20 punches barely did any damage.

Also, lol at them arresting the girl just for being in possession of alcohol, prix


Annnnd reading the comments more, the arrest report from said officer claimed that the kid punched him first, when clearly the kid never even attempted any physical altercation.

Later in the video cop tells the kid in the back seat that he punched him in the chest first which clearly didn't happen, then tells him that he probably doesn't remember doing it because he was too drunk. just lol

Kid started being a jack ass from the first second. While being put in cuffs he resisted and was then forced onto the ground. Cop should know better than to start swinging though.

Pennsylvania v. Mimms. Police can certainly have you exit your vehicle as well.

I agree the kid was being an annoying little brat and that he should have been obedient but that doesn't justify the excessive punching one bit.

Law enforcement officers should know better than that, their whole job revolves around dealing with morons so they are ought to know how to deal with them properly.

The cop probably would have been OK had he just put him to the pavement, and cuffed him. He could argue, based on the video the suspect was not cooperating being restrained, which appears accurate because he pulled away from the cop while he was trying to cuff him.

The full mount and raining bombs is going to give that kid a lot of money in court however....do these guys forget they have cameras watching them?

In the end, it is ALWAYS the tax payer who foots the bill. When will cops be required to carry their own personal "malpractice" insurance like every other profession that is responsible for peoples lives?
