Anyone else wish they were dumb enough to believe all this God chit

Especially the "God has a plan for all of us"

Imagine how powerful you would feel believing that chit... that no matter how bad things are going what is happening was supposed to happen to you because it paves the way for you to reach your destiny in the end. Going through the worst times in your life: death in the family, divorce, homelessness... and believing that this happening to you is a good thing because the stars are gonna align and the specific horrific chit that happened is made it possible for the good thing that's coming next to happen

I wish I could believe... all this fkn red pill chit worked out by STEM loving FA's who have nothing better to do but sit there alone and philosophise and get smarter and reach a greater understanding - when what might be best is to just kill half your braincells getting kicked in the head by a horse and then go to church

I consider myself a Christian, but I don't believe... I try to and I want to but I can't internalise it

Every study done on this has found religious people score higher than non believers on 'life satisfaction', 'subjective well being' etc. They also have lower stress and anxiety levels on average. So you're right

You're wrong about them being dumb though. Lots of scarily intelligent people are religious, in the present and from previous eras. Just as many dumbasses amongst the non religious brah

I think you mean MANKIND lets milliions of children die annually. What did God do? We made this Earth and it's our purpose (imo) to take care of it and ulitimately create heaven on Earth. WTF would be the point if everything was EASY MODE, that's what heaven is for. Actually I believe you just get bored up in Heaven so fuk it let's go fuk around on Earth for a lifetime and see what we can do there. It's all a game, it's the matrix in a sense lol

Also, funny you guys all ragging on religious people (which I a not), but fail to see how Science is thew newest religion and you all believe it on faith, without empirical evidence.

Maybe the amputee's purpose in this life was to learn something about living life with limitations and still seeing the good in things, i dunno...you probably chose this life before you were born. You have a purpose.

you can't cure da herp, hiv, paralysis, death, etc. it's exactly when you are helpless and've run out of options that you do this. You can stay logical as long as there are options.
