I think it COULD be. But the chances of:

- marrying a woman with marriage qualities
- marrying a woman with marriage qualities youre actually attracted to
- marrying a woman to help raise your kids properly
- Having youre kids not turn out to be pieces of sh.it.

some people feel lonely, so they make many kids. 2 is often times not enough for them.

also the way society/culture is set up makes people become more and more lonely so this forces them to create more kids when possible.

In general we could use a society where people are closer to each other, are more open, so there are less lonely people, this will decrease the desire to have more than 2 kids.

That is sort of the meaning of life, but at the end of the day, you die, and your kids may not have their own kids. If the goal is to keep your bloodline going, it will probably end somewhere along the way. Depends on your views though and what you consider important.

Wouldn't count out the brahs who can't have kids either - sometimes it isn't their fault.
