1. I dont give a fuk whats trendy. I want to look aesthetic because thats my goal. Im not gonna go be at 15% bodyfat, grow a beard, have a manbun and do powerlifting.
2. In my honest opion rock does not look aesthetic at all in that pic. Its a matter of taste, i know most girls dig that look but i dont.
3. As I said before my strength and performance goals will be achieved EASIER when i weigh less.

Lean is in for men more than ever in human history. That natty/healthy lean of 8-10% is where you'll likely be at your highest ability of attracting women. But you need to have good proportions and some mass on body parts other than abs. A well rounded physique kills a scrawny abs physique any day.

Also when im 150lbs i can achieve all the strength goals i dream of such as full planche, one arm chin up and maybe hefesto if im feeling adventurous. It will take me years to do all that at 15% bodyfat but at 10% it will be a matter of time.
And you'll still be bench pressing like a small chinese girl. Even when I take my shirt off, my proportions are obvious - in that I lift. I may not look like a male model, but then again, I don't lift for 'aesthetics'. I lift because it's fun to see how strong I can get - this is more congruent with the natural man (vs looking pretty).

But.... you're trying to look marketable and get some leg. I'm married. Big difference.

Abs lose meaning when you get married

I do weighted pull ups with 80 lbs for reps and dips with 110 lbs for reps. Don't talk to me about what im lifting or will be lifting.
Once I am lean and aesthetic, I will be doing planche push ups for reps, something you cant even dream of while being 15%+ bodyfat.

I don't PR typically on accessories. I do exercises like those after my main lifts.

Why do you feel the need to focus on what you can do with body weight exercises anyway? Again, if you are wanting that kind of focus on your body, its limited to your clothes - which no one will look twice at with a shirt on. But hey gg on those abs - chicks will dig it, but some may find it awkward when you keep lifting up your shirt...

Methinks you may be going through a phase brah. It's okay, get it out of your system I guess.

Weighted pull ups and dips are my main lifts, not accessories. And those numbers weren't PRs, they were what I do for working sets.
It's not a phase, I have been looking to unlock ultimate bodyweight strength for over a year, I am only now realizing how much getting lean will help me. Not to mention how i'll look shredded and sick.
I dont see why I would be unsatisfied.

I'm pointing out the irony of you wanting to be aesthetic... but the problem with that is, your idea of aesthetic is not factoring mass whatsoever. It seems pretty one sided. Buy hey, if you want to be awesome at bodyweight excercises because you enjoy it, that's something else entirely - good for you. If you're wanting to be aesthetic, in that people commonly and objectively notice you lift, you seem to be approaching that with a blind eye.

Well the way I see it I never get laid anyway, might as well be happy with my body.

What is your height? You mentioned your weight but never your height, no way of knowing if you're actually underweight. Obviously if you're doing callisthenics you want to be as lean as possible whilst being maintainable long term, aesthetics doesn't even need to be a factor in your case.

Theres no denying it. Abs will make a twink look aesthetic while you can have a huge chest, legs and arms but look like chit without abs.

You left out an option: Bulk.

Eat, get fatty, then cut. Though, as you said it, you probably won't get laid, so you can leave the cutting out.

Are you really telling me you would rather look pretty and not get laid, over lifting heavy like an alpha gorilla (and looking like one)? I reckon the latter will actually yield the womens more than you think...

Im already lifting heavy. The numbers for my pull ups and dips are far above anyone ive seen. Ive actually never seen anyone lift as much as me in them.
And yeah id rather look pretty and not get laid rather than feel fat and not get laid.

Too bad you'll never get laid bragging about your pull up numbers.

You know what might get you laid? Bragging about your bench press numbers.

Anyone else think op might secretly be gay based on all this talk about how much time he spend admiring some other dudes abs, wishing they were his?

So if I tell a girl how much I bench she will fuk me? Wow that's really cool i might bench now.
Also I dont brag about my pull ups unless the conversation fits. Even if I benched i wouldnt go around telling everyone how much I bench.

Body weight stuff is neat, it just doesn't translate to aesthetics near as much as lifting. Even still, some awesome body weight dudes still lift.

Well I look at the misc pull ups thread every now and then (https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...2337503&page=6), you seem to be around the right weight. Most of the impressive dudes in there are tiny as fuq.

I guess I don't really understand the thread, to be good at callisthenics you pretty much HAVE to have visible/shredded abs because you have to be super lean to be good.
