Weighted pull ups and dips are bodyweight exercise now? Wasn't aware.
Is the squat a bodyweight exercise now as well?

I guess I don't really understand the thread, to be good at callisthenics you pretty much HAVE to have visible/shredded abs because you have to be super lean to be good.
This thread is more about aesthetics and the importance of abs in it. Not just my bodyweight exercises. As I said before its rare to find a shirtless pic of a man without abs that looks aesthetic.
I've seen the misc pull up thread and the guys there are insane. My pull up goals are mostly in that thread.

Also I dont brag about my pull ups unless the conversation fits. Even if I benched i wouldnt go around telling everyone how much I bench.
Actually, if you bench enough, you don't need to tell someone how much you bench - its self evident that they can bench a lot - typically.

Idk my bench because I dont use the bench. I went to the gym once with a friend and I did 1 set of OHP and got 135x7 if that eases your mind. But didn't bother benching that day.

So a pull up with external weight is a weighted exercise, just like the barbell squat.

Not really because I don't care about other people's levels of fitness. I just thought it was ironic you said you wouldn't go around telling people how much you bench, but you've subtly been humble bragging about your body weight exercises this whole post.

I never said it wasn't. Just that a squat could be considered a bodyweight exercise.

I have to force myself to eat just so I can keep growing. It would be really nice to eat less. It's a 24/7 concern when my next meal should be, and where its coming from (and how many times I have to poop - you eat more you crap more).

ANd.... when it comes to my lifting sessions, I'm at the gym for hours - plural and I exert my muscles to near the max typically. If you can walk around super setting after my routine - you're not doing it correctly, you should be at worst, hands legs shaking like you have Parkinsons after a few sets (my thursdays typically).

I gain weight easily and have to force myself not to eat.

Someone showed you the rock and he's aesthetic as hell. Aesthetic is subjective bro. If you think you'll look better with abs, tiny ass legs, tiny ass arms, and no dead lift power, then by all means, go throw up in a toilet somewhere.

Few examples I can think of, bear in mind these guys are lean and have abs, just not shredded. But I'm guessing it's close enough:

Tiny is subjective. Proportionally most people's arms, chest and legs look better in low bodyfat.

Yeah they definitely look good but they all have abs. Yeah not shredded but imagine if they had no abs at all lol. Would look like chit. Like I said it makes or breaks physiques.

You're missing the point. Look better in low body fat is subjective.

We could show you a million pics of aesthetic looking badasses, and to you they wouldn't look good because apparently you're gay for those shredded abs

Did you miss the part that says aesthetic looking?

Are we talking to a slow kid? We all gave you our opinions and showed you pics of people without shredded abs, that look aesthetic to us. So let me say this again for you and slowly.

Aesthetic.

Is.

SUBJECTIVE.

So if you want shredded abs, no one is stopping you. Have at it. Get your crunches in munching on your bfs dick while admiring his shreds brah. We won't hate on you for it. Promise.

Only 1 pic of a person without abs was posted and it was the rock. Idk how in the world you found that aesthetic.
Yeah aesthetics are subjective to a point, but I cant post a pic of an obese person and call him aesthetic and say its all subjective.

I think the point of aesthetic, when it comes to showing off your gainz has a certain objective criteria. I'd argue a bigger physique (trained) will yield more glances due to the convenience/normal day to day routine vs a beach body, which is more conditional.

They do have abs, which goes back to my original point its the most important thing. Without abs they wouldnt look good at all. Just try it, photoshop a flabby stomach into those guys. See how they look. And let me tell you they would look even better with more shredded abs.

This was me at 16 years old a little more than a year ago. God I wish I could go back to that bodyfat or get more shredded. I used to do the aesthetics on omegle thing and chicks went crazy for me, but now they just disconnect.

You know what op

Given your frame, insertions etc if you want to be properly aesthetic you do need to be leaner so as to be more proportional. (Imo)

But you got some thick solid tight wrists and calves, tbh ypu would do better to be similar bodyfat as now and powerlift your way to manlet meatball status

If I ever get bored of calisthenics powerlifting is the first thing I plan to do. I think at an older age I could learn the lifts easily since they are relatively simple(compared to some other lifts at least) and it's a strength based sport which again I really like.
