You said it'd probably go up in price like the Countach and Diablo. Someone will call me a hater, but the Murcielago and Gallardo are the most boring Lamborghini designs ever, might aswell have bought a Ferarri Mondena. Speaking of price, why has the price gotten so low? A used Lambo for $80k?

I almost called the Huracan boring, but it looks good imo

Design and market values are not correlated. You do understand that correct?
Murcielago is the last of the non Audi inspired V12 lambos.

The countach was an $85k car at one point. The diablo was a $100k car at one point too.
Do some homework.

I just took notice of this thread, and to be honest, I've only seen a handful of your posts from what I can recall. Congratulations on your new Lambo, it seems well deserved!

More importantly, thank you for being an example of a true car enthusiast, one who appreciates different cars and styles. Your son is very lucky to have you watching out for his best automotive interests, and hopefully we all have that friend we'd trust with our lives without a moments hesitation.

I'm very interested to see the full collection, can you post some pictures of what you currently have? It doesn't have to be a full group photo, individual glamour shots are just fine with us!

Thank you for all of the kind words. The one particularly that hits home and makes an old man feel like hes doing the right thing are the "setting example for my child" and "friends of trust"
Loyalty and best interest are two things that are in my DNA. Some of my business partners say I am loyal to a fault, but I wont change that piece no matter how much money is sitting in front of me.

I need to gather some pics. Just realized I dont have many on my phone

Im sure some of these have already been posted so dont want to come across as bragging but just sharing pics

Here is my SL with the Gallardo that I sold

Here is my first Gallardo

Current Superleggera (i Have done some mods to it since this pic)

Gallardo with my 63 lincoln (currently getting a full air set up)(lincoln will stay with my until i die)

Heres the 7 (daily driver)

Dont have a pic of my 64 Coupe De Ville. Need to snap some photos. Just came back from getting full accuair set up.

Great looking cars! Of your collection, I've only had a chance to drive a 750 when my parents had one a few years ago. Surprisingly nimble and sporty for a full size sedan! Someday I'll make sure to test drive all the other types, especially a Continental! Would you ever consider picking up a new Continental as your daily, bridge the classic and modern gap for your stable?

Can you still fit the roof in the trunk with air ride? I'm sure they made a kit for the 63, just curious since it's one solid piece retracting into the trunk rather folding or splitting to pieces.

I was a little surprised to see someone your age posting on the misc, then I realized I turn 30 next week and am not far behind you at all. I'm not far from hearing "someone your age" myself.

I felt the same way about the 750Li. I needed a big sedan for many things and really wanted to love the MB S550 but the suspension was just too soft for me.
I think my next sedan is going to be a Tesla. I was in the market for a P90D but this Lambo got to me so thats onhold.

The lincoln has enough trunk space even with the roof for the air ride set up. I do like the new lincoln! It looks fantastic but not sure about how they will hold value. We will see

I know i am old for the mISC. I post on here to give perspective AND get perspective. THere are a lot of similarities to 20 something miscers and what I was like when I was 20. So I try to come on here to fast forward a bit to show what life is like from someone who has experienced what they might experience. I also do this to keep perspective on what 20 somethings are thinking about, the issues they speak about and generally whats important to someone 2 decades younger than me.

Hate to break it to you, but unless its got 3 peddles or an SV on the side, no it wont. Should have spent a bit more and gotten an aventador or diablo. The market for Murci's and gallardo's is abysmal.

My parents moved on to the Audi A8, which has been a fantastic car for them. It's pretty much smack dab in the middle of the sporty vs comfort designs of BMW and Mercedes. I'd highly recommend you taking a look at one if you're not entirely set on the Tesla.

I'm glad you're here to share wisdom and hopefully some mischief too. You also bring up an interesting point about seeing what he youngsters are into these days, but don't assume all of the garbage that is spewed here represents everyone. I seriously hope that is not all our future has going for it...

Agreed, but 3 pedal LP's and Diablos have already gone up. If they dont go up, no big deal, i buy these toys to satisfy my emotions, if they appreciate, great...if they dont...no sweat
My first gallardo did not shoot up, but I was able to drive it for 20k fun miles and not lose money on it (other than service cost)

I'll take that all day.

Can confirm

at the moment, my stable is only a stable for insurance purposes lmao. Once my bday comes around this year, I'll be able to get rid of my previous car and invest that money towards a bike, been looking at smaller dualsports/offroad.

The only problem is, once one want is satisfied, more pop up. I can only hope to reach a point like yourself, where the wants can be satisfied comfortably.

That 7 Series looks clean, is it wrapped? Also wouldn't mind tips on what you do for paint protection. Drives me mad

A countach was $85k as recent as 8 years ago.

Diablos at $100k even more recent than that
