Trailer was hngggggg

It's gonna suck seeing Jon die again (even knowing the 1st one was going to happen). I always thought he would die saving Dany but that could be for the realm.

For YT breakdowns check the Last Harpy' s channel as well. He was the 1st to post when trailer #1 came out.

Maybe but that would seem super convenient...not much different than what happened with Brann's rescue I guess but the show hasn't really shown him to be important enough to give his life to save Jon. If anything if they're going to use deus ex machina they may as well have Danny ride in on her dragons and burn those whights down.

That might be the best trailer they have done so far. Everything looks so grand and huge.

Patiently waiting for Altshiftx.

Anyone know if the episodes will be aired on consecutive weeks? They gonna give us blue balls with any random weeks off?

I think the quote is saying

when winter is here, and whitewalkers arrive(the wind, they bring the storm), the wolf that is alone dies, but those who remain together will survive through the winter.

there's no way these *******s will kill jon snow and hint it like that in the trailers, RIGHT GUYS, right?

I think the quote is saying that the Starks will get together as a pack to try to survive...

...except that Jon Snow is a dragon too

yep everyone thinks it's the hound. so i'm going with THE HOUND VS THE MOUNTAIN THIS SEASON fuk yeah boys we made it

i would think it's a trial by combat because why would the the hound go back down to king's landing. the only reason would be to kill his brother. maybe someone accuses cersei for murdering the people at the sept. olenna maybe.

Jon Snow is azor shavershian reborn so pretty sure they are going to have him die in a sauna after he saves the world by encouraging everyone else to make it.

I think that shot of Jon alone is just editing. Doubt he'd be the only one left but guess it's possible.

My theory has always been that Jon won't "die" but I think he'll sacrifice himself to save everyone in another way and become the new Night King or something along those lines. I definitely don't think it's going to happen this season though. Something like that would happen in the series finale

Yeah I think he may help but just don't think he has big enough impact to be the one to sacrifice himself for the group but who knows what will happen. A part of me thinks Benjen may be bad since I do think Bran going through the wall will allow the White Walkers to follow with that mark on him and I think Benjen knows that.

And for that pic, that's definitely the hound or the producers are totally trolling us and it winds up being someone totally random. That's clearly his hair style and body type in the pic but not sure that's King's Landing. Almost looks like the location they shot a lot of the Dothraki scenes in though it could look like that just cuz of the sun in the picture.

Either way...I'm full mast and ready for this season to start. I have vacation coming up on July 17th(hitting up Vegas) and one of my biggest regrets is that I won't be able to participate in GOT talk as much as I'd like after the first episode lol.

I think Jon is Azor Ohai, and that he will indeed sacrifice himself to save the rest. Not sure exactly how that plays out though.

Do you think ALL the people (?) around him here are wights?

I'm sure other people are in the back of him...just like he was alone in this shot

My question is the fire in the back....made by flaming arrows or some other "natural" means or do we get some dragons wrecking chit beyond the wall?

At this point we don't really know that. We didn't see them interact after he came back and bert stared at her.

He may go all white knight on her "it's us against the world" chit now that their kids are dead and he really doesn't have anyone else. Hell in the previews he's out there leading their army.

Now he MAY turn on her in a Mad King part 2 situation but I don't think he's at a point where he's not by her side.

Maybe the fire in the background of that image in the trailer confirms it?

Benjen could be a part of the crew that encounters the wights. He's on a permanent vacation north of the wall anyways. Jon can't die this season; that wouldn't make much sense.

Spoiler!
Arya, Bran, Jon, Tyrion and Dany were all intended by the author to make it through to the endgame.

He already did. The story is about a song of ice and fire. Jon is the song. The bridge linking ice (Stark) and fire (Targaryen). The bridge linking the dead and the living. Whichever way you want to put it. He's way too important to be put down before the endgame.

Seemed more like something she would say too or after killing Littlefinger considering how closely those two have interacted the past 3-4 seasons.

Jon Snow won't die. But he align with the white walkers as he is a descendant of the Night's King. Plot twist. the White Walkers are actually good guys, and Dany has become the villian. The North and the Whitewalkers will take on Dany to save the realm. He may also even have an ice dragon after the wall falls, to help against that kunt

I read a couple of interesting theories and buy the idea that the Stark words "Winter is Coming" is actually a war cry. All houses have use phrases that are either boasts or threats. Why would it be any different for one of the most important, powerful and ancient houses of Westeros?

Starks bringing the winter and the walkers. Targaryens bringing fire and blood and dragons. Ice preserves. Fire consumes. Kind of puts the ice vs fire, living vs dead, good vs evil into perspective.

Not interested in going down this rabbit hole any further but that quote doesn't necessarily mean what you think it means.

Wow, chit, that story turned out to be quite different. Repped for the link.

I feel that the he flubbed on the Arya story. She's now some shapeshifting assassin, and I can't see how she'll play a major role, other than working for her cousin in killing off plebs.

Bran is now just the three-eyed-raven, some lame mystical seer

The dragon in the wall theory has been out there for years so don't try to pitch it as your own.

Don't see the White Walkers are good guys theory at all the way they're mowing down innocent people left and right but I do think Jon somehow takes over as the Night King and maybe changes them....may be a stupid analogy but Orlando Blooms character taking over as Davey Jones to get those guys to stand down.
