Went to a TOOL Concert as a 45 Year old Female AMA

I've been a TOOL fan since 1997 and went to see them in concert in 1998.

Then I had a baby, got busy with life, and now that baby is a teen and is interested in music from the past (Pink Floyd, Queen, Michael Jackson, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, etc as her peers don't like today's music). Made me think about my TOOL CD collection. Since TOOL isn't on iTunes, I found them on YouTube to listen to at work.

Then I bought tickets to the concert. Maynard was ON FIRE! Yet he no longer comes out on the stage in a bra and painted blue?

I read that the lights bother him? Or is there another story?

One of my best concerts ever! The whole area was SOLD OUT and I couldn't believe there were so many TOOL fans in my area!

See them while you can! With these musicians dying I'm trying to see as many as possible. Chris Cornell (Soundgarden and Audioslave), Layne Staley and Mike Starr from Alice in Chains all have died.

I saw Stevie Wonder a couple of months ago perform at work, TOOL, and Queen with Adam Lambert next week.

It's easier to be a guy on here. But dudes would PM me their female problems and I felt bad about it, and a Female Miscer developed a crush on me thinking that I was a sensitive guy, so I finally came out of the closet

I've seen tool several times and had tickets to see them a couple weeks ago but ended up selling them. The last time I saw them a couple years ago half the people there had bald spots so it's pretty normal for 40 somethings to go see them. They still put on a good show but it's not nearly as good as it was in the 90's. That's why I sold my tickets. I was like meh.

I used to love tool but when you get older you realize how negative and depressing most of their lyrics are. Their music targets angsty disillusioned white males and outcasts. A lot of it has an FA sjw beta fighting the system feel. Same with Marilyn Manson. Great stuff to do a workout to just dont internalize it. Maynards one of the bigger libtard betas in entertainment.
