I haven't really been bothering to sell guns I don't use any more, but I decided to take some to the range last week and pick out a few that I know I will never bet my life on:

FN FNS40
Kahr CM380
Kahr CM9
Beretta Pico

Not a matter of preference, ergonomics, etc. All of the above have proven to be inaccurate, unreliable pieces of sh!t. They are all inexpensive guns, and it's not about the money, but they're so bad I don't even want them sitting in my safe. I just need to prepare myself for the trade offers and crazies on Armslist. I'm sure I will get at least one trade offer including live animals.

Why not take them to a different LGS and trade them in on something you want?

You'll get much better money in trade than selling I'm betting....plus not having the hassle of Craigslist weirdos has to be worth quite a bit of money itself

I hadn't thought about that. Doubt I'll get much, and probably nothing extra for the night sights and all the extra mags but that would save me a lot of hassle.

What has the FNS 40 done to make the list?

Probably 50-60% of new value is what they'll offer.

And then there is the question of what new value. There are LGS out there where 60% of what they put on the $ticker would equal what PSA was selling those things for awhile back lol

It is just wildly inaccurate. I can barely hit paper with it at 7 or 10 yards. Tried shooting it from a rest last weekend and same result. All over the place. Trigger isn't great either. I got the stainless version with night sights and 3 mags, and I paid $100 for 2 extra mags. I assumed I just got a bad one but the guy at Blackstone said they get tons of complaints about them. It has reliably loaded every type of .40 round but it is by far my most inaccurate handgun.

The others are fairly accurate but won't reliably feed or load, and all three have gone back to the factory at least once.

That sucks. I only have 230 rounds through mine still (you know, bought because $320 with night sights and now I can use .40 ammo) but it's been accurate enough. No explanation needed on the others, not surprised

10 yards, 6.23 seconds with mine

My wife's first gun was an SR9 . . . because she liked the way it looked. That thing is a dog . . . never shoot it anymore. She even forgot she owned it. I took it out one day a few months ago and she said, "whose gun is that??".

can confirm the ergos on the sr9 sr40 are pretty comfortable but its a pretty good size gun. Its no cz tho. Also have yet to shoot the new .300 blk upper i picked up a couple months back, need to take it out for some fun but its been so damned hot.

First you have to realize that people usually describe pistol "accuracy" two different ways. When most people say a pistol isn't accurate or is more accurate than pistol "X" I believe it's just that they shoot that particular pistol more accurately. IE: maybe the ergos, trigger, sight radius, etc make it more accurate for them.
But then there's actual mechanical accuracy. Which is just how accurate the gun is capable of shooting. Which is basically barrel quality and lock up.

They have decent triggers, the thing that is weird is the ergonomics are the same between the SR and the SRc (compact) with the exception of bbl length. It would be assumed a longer sight radius would be better, which is why I bought it after. Then shot it and was just meh....Shooting the compact at steel in a field where I can just point and shoot any direction and it hits where I point every time. I have the regular SR version in my nightstand safe with light mounted just because I don't care as much if someone were to break in and walk out with that little safe.

I don't think I'm good a enough pistol shooter to perceive what a gun is capable of. I just go by what I shoot better. Trial and error. I thought my 1911 had a bent bbl when I first got it, until I let a 1911 guy shoot it and just hammered out a very impressive group. Was like nope it's good.

Most people can't shoot as well as MOST pistols are mechanically capable of. But there are exceptions.
And like you said, that still doesn't mean you won't shoot one better or "more accurately" than the other.

I personally can't shoot any of my Glocks as good as any of my CZ's. But I know that I shoot neither as accurately as they're mechanically capable of.

Coincidentally one of the videos jumped up by 9k views last night.

Lmao yeah I already thought of that. Time to sell out for my shekels.

So regarding my layoff. Basically I was in a senior level position as a site reliability engineer. The manager had it out for me since I got there.

He threatened me with a PIP in April and gave me a lot of action items which I was improving on even though the majority of them were perception based.

We are meeting up every week or every other week to discuss my progress.

Early June rolls around and after all of this he is essentially ignoring me in the office. Minimum communication but I am working on projects and taking ownership on things.

He terminates me in a room with a project manager for whatever reason. There was no one present from HR. I get a separation letter in the mail yesterday and final paycheck. I will also get severance should I sign the paperwork.

Job searching again. I'm at this archery range I wanted to try out for a bit now actually.

Is it they want to pay you for views from use of existing videos, or do they want new material and X number of videos a week as well?

Just curious, I think it's supes coo either way.
