She lost to a guy ranked 203 already and it wasn't even close.

IMO the backlash should be directed at the idiot interviewer who baited Johnny into that pit trap. How you gonna compare men's sports with women's sports? There's a reason why they're split. Now I feel bad for Williams because she knows McEnroe is right but imagine the feminist backlash on HER if she agreed.

It would be nice if the more competent women athletes did a PSA to all these other un-informed women WHY there's a split between men and women divisions. Women would feel useless if there wasn't.

It's also a no-win situation for a guy to compete against women; either he beats them all and everyone laments the fact that he has an advantage, or loses (possibly on purpose) and everyone says he just sucks despite having an advantage.
He didn't just come out with it, he was asked (more like baited) by a female radio host if she's not just the best female tennis player but the best tennis player in the world period, he just responded to her question with his honest answer and now the cucked feminist MSM is losing their minds. It's got to a point where we now have to lie to ourselves and everybody else and deny biology or we will be shamed across the media and have our career potentially ruined, just lol @ western PC society, absolutely pathetic.

what needs to happen is they need to combine all womens sports with mens so the feminazis will STFU - its not enough that women can compete in sports and do well amongst themselves, they need to seem better than all men, so lets just force their hand and combine them all, combat sports included

the narrative is that he's the best in the world. the fact that weight classes exist automatically destroys that argument

then she's not the best female either. plenty have just as good if not better technique and skill but she's a ish ton stronger and faster so most girls can't even hang. if to guys competed at anything and one had muscles like this:

and the other was built like this:

you'd say, "No wonder the second guy won.". doesn't matter the competition. the fact that she has lost to girls like that and some can still compete is very telling.

Interestingly a number of 'mens' events in the Olympics are actually open and any gender can enter it's just no women do because they will get creamed.

Didn't read the entire thread but a few years ago McEnroe claimed in his mid 50s he could still beat Serena. I would have no issues believing that.

The Atp player doesn't have to be very good, just a solid server. The WTA player stands no chance. Anything in the top 500 and the ATP player would win in straight sets hands-down, a 60 year old Federer or Nadal could beat prime Serena. I think anybody in the top 1000 could probably win 9/10 times against WTA player in the top 10.

LOL at trying to make him apologize, not sure if srs.

McEnroe legit has never given a sh*t so no surprise he's not bending to people who can't handle to truth.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. I'm surprised why people are surprised. Seems anyone who has heard of the game of tennis knows McEnroe was always the bad boy of tennis.

That woman made the most retarded argument I've ever heard.

This is like saying a QB in the CFL who manages to win 10 championships is the greatest QB of all time because he's won more than Tom Brady has won SBs despite those accomplishments coming in an inferior league.

This also isn't a knock on Serena. Even if she racks up more championships she hasn't accomplished as much as a male who wins 1 tournament in my book.

The quality of the accomplishment matters. I can run down to the store and buy a bunch of trophies to give myself in pick-up tennis matches with 5 year olds. Am I more accomplished now than Serena?

In all fairness Isner has an amazing serve, Janowicz isn't far behind. Really tall guys have insane serves cause of the angles but even an average server would be too much.
