You guys are just speculating and throwing out numbers that the 500th, 700th, 1000th, etc ranked male player can easily defeat her

In 1992, Jimmy Connors (one of the greatest players) defeated Martina Navratilova by only 7-5, 6-2

In 1973, Billie Jean King defeated Bobby Riggs 6–4, 6–3, 6–3

Feminism in 2017 is more about crying and being offended than it is about actually promoting equality.
I agree with you 100% and think we DO need to reform feminism, because many things about it are valuable and many feminists have genuine, good intentions (to protect women from harm, to allow them opportunities). But the media twists it into this dumb gotcha game that's creating more and more of a divide between the Left and the Right and it's so irritating.

Context. Your post has none of it.

For the Connors/Navratilova match, the rules were changed to heavily favor her.

Riggs was 55 years old at the time. Gambling was allegedly a big factor too.

Rough fight for Rousey. You can definitely see her back foot slip a bit right before she got hit. Just like that and it's all over. Crazy stuff.

Not to mention technique/racquet technology was very different then. You can really whip the racquets now and get insane spin on the ball. Women typically even swing the racquet different than the men.

It's not a divide between the left and the right, it's a divide between people with sanity and those without. 4th wave feminism is cancer and anyone who champions the term with it's current definition should be exiled from serious discussions. Modern feminism is people like Elizabeth Warren citing inequality among sexes while her own payroll follows similar patterns. It's about people refusing to support people like Ayaan Hirsi Ali or unspeakable evil like setting women ablaze for no reason.

I see feminists get real upset when fat women get called fat but I don't see similar anger towards a 70+ cliterectemy rate in Egypt or the lowest female participation rate in the workforce. Feminists would rather smear period blood on their faces and attack the patriarchy mirage than do anything about it.

now how about a real match.

"Another event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both.Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centered around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager". The matches took place on court number 12 in Melbourne Park, after Braasch had finished a round of golf and two beers. He first took on Serena and after leading 5–0, beat her 6–1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6–2. Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance". He added that he had played like someone ranked 600th in order to keep the game "fun". Braasch said the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier, and that men put spin on the ball that the women can't handle. The Williams sisters adjusted their claim to beating men outside the top 350"

even ****n cowherd argues that 700th is too little since the dude ranked 701st in the world is a multiple time champion that would absolutely demolish the williams sisters.http://foxsportsradio.iheart.com/ona...ight-15944609/

I highly doubt she'd beat the top 70,000th man. A lot of men play tennis, even if they're not on a world circuit they still play competitively at a high level and they are simply biologically superior to women. A woman cannot handle a man's power in tennis, it's a completely lopsided affair. It's like arguing Mike Tyson can beat a silverback gorilla. No matter what, he simply cannot. It is biologically impossible.

Not here. You want to see where feminism would be useful? Go to the middle east where women are actually repressed and don't have equality.

People supporting "feminism" and fighting for "equality" in the Western world is about as full retard as it gets. I have friends that had to flee their country for supporting basic women's rights, and then here in the West you have entitled ****s complaining about a mythical "wage gap" and "male privilege" despite women, if anything, actually having an inherent advantage at most levels of society.

It really makes you lose faith in humanity

If you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

Well according to Freud women have ALWAYS wanted to be like men. Its just that it took until this time for it become acceptable. In any event, how many women can you name that still popularize femininity?

You have no clue because you don't play tennis.

Whenever I beat a man in tennis it really rustles their jimmies and it's one of the few sports where women can dominate men, outside of the professional arena.

I've taken on 2 ollege basketball players in my 40s and beat them 6-0, 6-1 because they said they were top junior players, but they were not at the top of their game.

I force a John McEnroe Serena Williams match in the future, similar to Billie Jean King/Bobbie Riggs Battle of the Sexes.

I compete at the 4.0-4.5 level of tennis by the way. Any tennis date has always resulted in a complete disaster because the man couldn't handle losing. Never led to a 2nd date. I would suggest that we just hit because I knew his male ego couldn't handle the loss, but he'd get bored and say "let's play games".

I can easily beat a man who is at 3.0-3.5 level, and most men on dating sites would just post that they play tennis for social reasons, so they are more like a 2.5 level or lower.

That man cannot compete against a 4.5 women, even if she's 30 years older than he is.

Yeah same with me if I go hit with a teenage boy or girl who practices 4 hours a day.

But tennis is the one of the few sports where women can seriously compete with men. You can't say the same about basketball, soccer or football, but tennis I will win against most men unless they are at the 4.0 level or above.

They used to have the US Girls 18 and Under National championships at my club. You should see these girls hit, it's amazing. They would kill me and 99.9% of most Miscers 6-0, 6-0.

maybe golf on a short course. I donno.

but as soon as I'm 100% recovered and Dr gives me clearance to run I'm going to play my GF in tennis. she's pretty good. played in HS, gets lessons from a legit pro and plays in matches all the time. I suck and have never had once lesson. she said my serve was pretty awesome especially for someone that's never played. I think if I can return her's I can win. we'll see in a few months.

totally different sports but we did play racketball once. she quit after 3 points. lol
