Pissed hot to a random drug test today, AMA

Title.

Right after my lunch break today, clocked on and got to work.

Lady comes in, people start taking the drug test.

I walk in the bathroom, say fuk it, piss, and get back to work.

Awaiting results but 90% sure I'm going to fail.
She asked me if I'm smoking again
I said I prolly gotta go in a bit.

Friend of mine is a tradie making $50/Hr and they get randoms.

He said the better workers might get a warning or two after they fail but if you're fringe you're gone.

Not minimum wage, but nothing to brag about either.

Had just gotten a $1 raise the day before, supposed to take effect this coming work-week.

I live in Colorado. I can go to any smoke shop and pick up fake piss for a couple bucks. It's what a lot of my friend's do and it's what I was planning on doing, until I started hating my job.

That method might not work, either. They test for temperature and some other variables. A cold vile of piss might get you caught.

Fake piss bottles usually come with instructions on how to get it to the proper temperature. One of my friends at work that also got drug tested today used and has used it in the past. The girl was suspicious of his, so she "temped" his piss. About 90 degrees. Was in the acceptable range and therefore he should pass.

I'm not worrying or complaining about it. It's my decision to partake, my decision to not be proactive in trying to manipulate my test for a pass, and my decision to just walk in there and piss.

Could not care less if they fire me for it. Their loss, if you ask me. My workplace has recently had a very hi turnover rate, in which, I would guess, 40% of the people working there have been there for less than 3 months. Manager had even asked me today if I had any hard-working friends who would like a job. If they take their drug policies more seriously than their turnover rate of good employees, that's also their decision.

Weird conclusion that you came to. My manager loves me and how hard I work. Again, I even just got a raise. My attitude towards what I want to do with my free time and the amount of effort I put into my work are not correlated nor related.

depending on the company size, some will collect from a big group, but only test a random sample. Drug tests done through a professional company aint cheap.

Also if you dont do what you did that much and you did it 4 days ago, it might not even show up (srs).
