Last several nights I have found myself a couple hundred calories over. It's messing me up because I am at a sticking point and being much more strict would get me through.

So, I ended up taking in just over 1300 calories today to hopefully make up for it. 217g of protein, 42f fat, and 29g of carbs. Going to buckle down for the next few weeks to get the real shreds back. I have been hovering at almost 10% these last few weeks and want to get back down to 8%.

It shouldn't be slowing too much you. A 500-600 calorie deficit should ride out for quite some time.

After 6 weeks is a good time to take a short diet break anyway. I'd spend a week (yes a week) at 2500 calories, then reduce back to 2000 and see how you fare.

As far as cardio..30 minutes of liss on the bike 3-4x a week is what I do. Some people like more and some like less. Hiit is great for fat loss but it really wears me out and makes me hungry so not worth it.

After 6 weeks it's going to be slow. I try not to worry about the scale much because it can get frustrating. 1-2lbs a week is going to be the norm. Just gotta keep grinding.

I do 4 sessions of HIT a week after my workouts. Between 17-20 minutes depending on how I'm doing with time.

It must be different for women. When I get leaner, I get more lines on my face.

I was at my leanest in my avi before I went into the ED- Eating Disorder- hospital and they force fed me 3,000-4,000 calories a day had to eat everything on my tray to get out of that hellhole, groce hospital food that didn't even taste good, and gained 50 lbs in 3 months.

Then everyone said I shaved 10 years off my age. But I looked 5 months pregnant from the bloating.

Definitely notice a difference in the face with more body fat, look younger.

How can one invest that much protein? Do you take fiber supplements? I can't go over 120g of protein without major digestive issues.

Can you explain to me how I can screw up my metabolism so I don't have to buy as much food? I'd love to cut on 1k cals a day.

He's 5'9ish and 130lbs, so he's not a normal weight in that regard. He also crash diets pretty hard and as soon as he gains a pound or two back he does it all over again. And iirc he's sedentary aside from lifting.

Very little muscle mass (he'll argue this, but 130lbs at 5'9 is small for a man) + very low calorie intake to lose weight quickly + being very lean for extended periods + sedental lifestyle = very low tdee

You gotta remember that is roughly 215lbs ( I think) He has way more muscle mass than you and can utilize all that protein. 120g of protein for a female sounds about right. I personally take in about 230g a day of protein and 30-40g of fiber, 230-250g of carbs.

How often do you guys do refeeds? I'm currently hitting one every 10-14 days depending on workout intensity for the weak, and how I'm feeling.

I've lost 15lbs+ in just a month. I feel a lot healthier and I feel good about myself mentally and spiritually. My confidence and self esteem is through the roof. I've never felt so great about myself like this. Going to keep hitting the gym and kicking ass with the cardio. Then, after this cut is done I'm going to lift and train hard like a motherfuker! Let's do this!

Morning guys. Juggernaut, when I used to use a card cycling cut I would refeed. Every 8 days, on a day that was hard training and followed by a day off hard training. IE back day refeed before leg day. I would keep fat and protein and dinner the same and focus on high glycemic carbs. My diet and supplementation at that point supported that style of eating tho. Not sure if it's for everyone

That's how I've typically done it as well. I'll do it last meal of the day, the day before training because I train at 5AM.

I remember a few months ago running Carbnite my one cheat meal was (1) medium cali chicken bacon ranch pizza and (1) medium Memphis BBQ pizza from Dominos. Ate them both completely.

How can one invest that much protein? Do you take fiber supplements? I can't go over 120g of protein without major digestive issues.
He's tiny lol
And I Average abot 210-250g of protein a day and never even think about it. Always eat grilled chicken breast at lunch and a protein shake/bar/eggs for breakfast. Most of my other snacks have protein like Greek yogurt but I'm also a much bigger dude.

I've kinda been throwing it in when I find myself getting "too hungry" during the daytime. A certain amount of hungry is expected, but when I become ravenous and actually salivating at the though of my chicken and rice, I'll throw a small cheat meal in at night and skip my two last meals. Keep it under 3500 calories for the entire day compared to my usually 2300ish.

yep i would try and spread out through the day, would add like 80-100g simple carbs to every meal and at the end of the day i would end up with like 800 g carbs. would train at 5 am as well, so got the benefit of recovery for that days work, and glycogen for the following days work. like i said tho there was supplementation to support that and bb'ing was priority numero uno at that time. now adays i stay around 2500 calories dont do any cardio outside of walking my dogs 45 minutes a day. I still try and train hard in the gym tho. Also in on 200 grams of protein per day crew.

Same here. Recently around 16k steps at work and most of them on stails because I'm working on the 3rd floor/roof of an apartment building replacing all the hvac...so stupid amounts of walking.
