I never said those links werent expired, I was proving that for practically every month of 2017 the game has been $8-11 online. Your sales aren't sales, they are just reduced prices from games that aren't new any more AKA their actual value. That's my point. But I am happy you are happy, just sick of Steam Sale threads in 2016 let alone 2017.

Fair enough, the thing is its not just about the reduced price, its about the fact steam is a "home" for a lot of people, you got a community going there with friend list / profile pages etc, its just a really easy way to keep intouch and play with friends. Not to mention how some people go crazy over achievement hunting and card collecting etc.

I never understood why people get so butthurt about steam sales and/or people spending money on it. I just got into PC gaming within the last few years, so steam sales are still exciting to me and I check steamDB to see if the game in question has been on sale recently and for what price.

Just because you can find a deal on some grey market website doesnt change the fact I can conveniently buy it on steam with having to question the source. I have enough websites I've signed up for, it's a nuisance to do it for every new site that has a sale. Also, I get steam gift cards regularly. Last I checked I can't use those on gmg, cdkeys etc.
