I will admit it was a chitty joke. But this is MISC and someone has to mention Chad in every thread. You are right tho it wasn't very funny, and probably shouldn't have been said. If anyone is actually offended by my chit joke, I apologize in advance.

It's not even necessarily this. When you're clinically, severely depressed it's like being in constant, terrible, physical pain. So please ask yourselves, if you were in constant, severe physical pain (to the point where you can't even eat or sleep) would you not at least consider suicide?

She wanted to do something, planned and executed her plan flawlessly

If she wanted to kill herself and she was trying to stab herself with a banana, then ok, sure, mental illness

Same concept applies to school shooters. I'd consider them mentally ill if they tried to shoot up a school with a sandwich

I've hit rock bottom in my life a couple different times and definitely have thought of it. But then I think of how my mom, brother, father, friends would feel if I actually did it. It would completely ruin them, so I could never do it.

Think about the times your life has been in danger. Think about how terrifying it is. Think about the human instincts and the one that comes before all others - survival. Now try to imagine what it would take to overcome the fear and most basic instinct. And I'm not talking about some half hearted slash at the wrist or taking a few too many aspirin. I'm talking about HANGING yourself.

Symptoms of depression often go overlooked and it is always sad when people do not search for professional help. However it was her own choice to take her life so can't be mad at her own decisions. RIP.

Misc is such a pathetic place though, people actually believe that money, fame and good looks are what matter in life... smh
