Les royals is $70 now, I might buy a few
How? I'm assuming you didn't get this for $50.

Hey man I now have my grubby little paws on it. A worthy addition to my collection although I would not say it's BETTER than Interlude Man. I got it from "arabiandilight" (sic) on eBay - 100% satisfaction rating and I can see why. This got to me from Oman to NZ within FIVE DAYS. Unbelievable delivery. Perfect condition, no damage or leaking. Also lucky that NZ customs didn't interfere with the packing in any way. Still had the cellophane and Amouage seal intact.

This is the first time I have smelt an attar and the experience seems quite different from an EDC/EDT/EDP. I am a bit confused as to how to apply it, because it feels both strong and lightweight at the same time. I have absolutely no perception of the sillage or projection, unlike say Interlude, where you just KNOW it's booming out everywhere.

Do you have any thoughts or advice on how much and where to apply these attars, based on your experience?

Yea its not "better" thank interlude as they are too different frag. I found this a lot easier to wear than interlude which i just cant wear. You just have to dab or smear the attar on you. For someone like you about 3 large smears should have the effect you are looking for. I have the white box one and can not do more than 2 drops. With Homage, i literally put two dabs behind my ears and my co worker came down the hall and said i smelled up the entire hallway. I hadn't even gone out of my office.

Brah.. LDDM is not a panty dropper unless you are looking for warlocks. I have heard great things about Aqua Sextius that Sloop mentioned but never tried it.

Yep. Im new to this and it's easily my most favorite fragrance ive got so far. Definitely changes depending on how much you spray, and it's not a bad change, it's just a change. It's very rich smelling to me.

In Arizona all week, sotd have been VIW, Invictus Aqua or Sauvage.

With it being so hot everyday these are working well. Did bring some Aventus might layer it with VIW

Thanks that helps a lot. Intuitively I think I was on the right track because one smear didn't seem quite enough. I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 smears although don't think I would ever do more than that. Apart from the smoky quality I agree it's a very very different experience than Interlude, it's more subtle, but extremely addictive. Like I want to keep trying it again and again to pin it down. Amazing stuff.
