There was one awhile ago, can't for the life of me remember her name, but she posted for ages without an avi and had normal reps the whole time. The one day she posted one and even after all that time they still shot up overnight. I wish I could remember who it was.

This may be the thing. When the other poster suddenly added an avi they already had a bunch of posts, so people were more inclined to believe and rep straight away possibly. Not sure if she did post a spoon pic in the end, but she definitely got heaps from just the avi.
