I've been so busy with work, I haven't really followed anything in the offseason--I'm not even sure what preseason rankings look like
That has to (and will) end at some point. Might as well be this year. I'll be praying for every team that we face if we have a competent QB (we won't)

We have such a ridiculous stretch of games the last 8 weeks. Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas, Tennessee, A&M.

Regardless of who wins this year, my body is ready for NCAAF!

Please pray for my mother today. She was admitted to the hospital because she is showing signs of congestive heart failure, they are going to run some tests on her today to see how bad it is

Sorry to hear that bro

Fingers crossed it turns out as well as it can. My dad first started having heart problems 10 years ago. I remember driving him to the hospital in the middle of the night running every red light. He's had a few minor scares since but he started eating better and taking more care of himself and seems in good health now. Best wishes to your fam.....

Completely random. But was looking through the "which miscer have the best ___" threads. And the jawline one has the most entries and posts. You'd think there would be more activity in pecs or glutes threads considering those are things that can be improved with discipline instead of pure genetics. Even on the misc we still reward luck of the draw attributes over hard work, discipline, and self improvement.

I need to go back to studying LOL, starting to sound all "dear diary"

Agreed. I almost took a job running the gym I lift at. They offered me a management training course at a new location a few years back and I turned it down. I have been kicking myself for turning it down ever since. I would have been training and helping people, selling and eventually running everything by now. I'd be pulling in twice as much as I'm making now and it's in a field that I'm truly passionate about I didn't want to drive an hour across state lines to work every day though. At least I am sort of passionate about what I do now though. Not the industry because it's HVAC but the whole sales process is like a big game and overcoming stuff you couldn't before and learning to relate to different walks of life is really satisfying. Just seeing improvements and knowing that everything you're doing each day has a purpose with none of the monotony is a great feeling.

What made you go into nursing?

What made you go into nursing?
to be honest at the beginning was the fact nurses dont struggle finding a well paid job, then I became a CNA and started to experience taking care of patients and I figure out that made me so happy to take care of others, I used to be a legislative aide for the Mayor and Council in Texas, an awesome job with ton of perks and benefits I used to go to concerts for free, meet really cool people including the president and others but I was the happiest while I took care of patients when I cleaned them and made their day better. It was not glamourous but I feel proud that I did everything and more to make the patients comfortable. As the time passed I realized that I wasnt as dumb as I though I was and actually was amazed that I could achieve the grades I have. Im from another country and I have faced challenges even harder because I had to break the language barrier. the reason my english is bad is because was self taught. anyway I love this career and I cant wait to be an nursesorry TLDR is accepted.. lol

That's awesome. Honestly the feeling you made someone's life better is one of the best things you can feel. That's a lot of the reason I liked fitness. I kind of led by example and helped a few friends an a few people on the misc improve themselves and knowing that you played a part in it is really satisfying. I didn't even get paid. Getting paid to do it would be great. The medical field in general is great though. I mostly wanted to go into RT for the pay and the less hands on approach but no doubt nursing would be more satisfying. Definitely a harder job though.
