Nah, the white stuff is "country gravy", generally speaking "gravy" refers to the brown stuff.

People generally use the country gravy with things like biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, etc.

I think it's more for the color than anything although I do like country gravy much more, it's spicier.

OP that **** looks good AF I've made biscuits and gravy many times before but never with homemade gravy.
