Even after watching this and not get charged because he was an "ex-cop" he still didnt pay the $18 parking fee, that should be a theft charge. Hope valet guy sues him and gets his douchemobile in the process although its probably financed for $600.month
'I didn't know if the guy had a weapon on him. So as soon as he said that I struck him one time and he went down.'
This is exactly why I hate some ******* cops. Dude was in a valet polo at work lol

Imagine all the chit that cops get away with when not captured on camera. By default cops always win when there is no video evidence. Even this case where there were bystanders and video proof the cop got away scott free.

All I did was make an observation. You might not believe it, but in the military and police force soldiers and officers are trained, and that training becomes habit, aka reactionary. They can't necessarily just turn it off after they're out of the service or retired from the job.
But since it doesn't seem like you know how to read, I criticized the officer's actions. I said his behavior wasn't justified. All I did was make an observation about what I saw in relation to what the ex-officer said.
What? A fuking guy looking at the incident from multiple angles while still calling it out? Sorry if I don't just flat out generalize and demonize all cops all the time.

That's BS. Cop should be charged with battery. He hit someone without a valid reason to. Textbook battery. Him being a former police officer is irrelevant.

In the video I saw the valet get socked in the face after sticking his hands in his pockets, then the ex-swat dude rummaged through the pockets. I assumed he was looking for an item based on the actions overall. Did people think he was robbing the valet? I mean he could've been, but that seems very unlikely to me. To me it looked like the guy was checking the valet for a weapon or something. Like a cop typically does.

He's obviously gonna be charged now, just because of public outrage, but ho-leeeee. How does one dude knock another out and not even get arrested by the cops? With multiple witnesses no less. Can you imagine what these dudes get away with when theres no camera

But..... But....... Bu.... Only the police should have guns....
Meh I'm not surprised. There's a lot of good cops and a lot of bad cops. If they have video of the incident he should be changed like anyone else would be.
Florida too, once again. What a disgrace. I'm becoming ashamed to live here. It's always Florida.

In some states (Massachusetts) police cannot make an arrest for a misdemeanor if it was not committed in their presence. Not sure if that is the case where this assault took place. So even though there is video and witnesses all that can be done is file a complaint with the Court for a hearing. Sucks if your the victim, good deal if your'e the puncher.

It's more about what he said, and the lack of charges that make him being a former cop relevant.

That was an unprovoked assault, plain and simple. You're a retard for thinking it was some kind of reflexive defensive action.
