Mainly Homeless people and OP aren't watching this show. It's great television, heck you could watch it for the cinematography and costumes alone. It's a prime example of why and how HBO keeps knocking it out of the ballpark.

I started last year just to see what all the hype was.
First few episodes were mediocre, but you gotta stick with it.
GOT is probably the best TV show ever.

I do agree with you in a way, just not as arrogantly as you put it lol. Also some people with ADHD or some chit who just can't sit down for an hour and concentrate on a TV show. They will try watching it but their brain takes them somewhere else and then they say "I just couldn't get into it." Other people don't really give it a chance. Some say it looks/sounds stupid and don't even try watching it. Others will watch 1 or 2 episodes then stop if they didn't like it.

But the majority of people who are moviegoers and watch TV shows will enjoy GoT. If you are a moviegoer and watch TV shows but don't like GoT... well, you probably just have bad taste. They are usually the people who just watch reality shows.

Was blown away from the first few seasons then everyone kept spoiling it and the concept of the show became very clear to me, to the point I no longer find it appealing. Just the honest truth from me, no pseudo-intellectual bullchit.

But I might give it another go if it really gets THAT much better.

I remember that turned me off too. The only reason I stuck with it is because I had Netflix on auto play while I was gaming, and by episode 3 or 4 I was hooked. The first exchange between Varys and Littlefinger really caught my attention.

The Lannister incest is such a tiny sliver of the show. Don't let that be the reason you don't watch it. Unless you simply don't like fantasy shows.

What a BS excuse. If you were really interested it isn't hard to find one hour in your day to watch it. I guarantee you'll get hooked and binge watch the series. You'll be at work and the only thing on your mind will be getting home to watch more episodes.
