I haven't thought about costumes for this year. At what age is it no longer appropriate to dress up as a slooty something?

I don't want to get glow mogged by all the 18-20 yo college kids.

If you're banging slooty is never inappropriate. I'm taking a seat this year because I'm nowhere near as aesthetic as I used to be but next year I'll do something noteworthy. Halloween is my favorite day of the year by far.

I remember you posting this video, hearing your band it comes as no surprise. I also always imagined you in something like the boy will drown for some reason lol

Actually the majority of my stuff is similar to that. The song I posted is pretty odd for us. It's mostly tech death/progressive death but it's such a niche category I don't lead with it. I'll generally show some tamer stuff. I absolutely love it though. It's fun to play and so fun to write

Sweet bruv, can't wait to hear more. Love tech death, and everything else technical, especially when it's mixed with heavyness similar to beneath the massacre, etc.

I mean I'm no beneath the massacre but here's one song.

Scratch guitar and drums so everything needs to be reworked but it gives a good idea.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/eickmt1t67...lords.mp3?dl=0

We're not over the top but some stuff is pretty technical.

This ones more melodic but the 2nd half has a pretty awesome groove that I really enjoy.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4jxy8uan66...0Call.mp3?dl=0

Again it's a rough scratch track. No mixing bass vocals and some guitar parts need to
Be redone. You get the idea though.

Judging by your AVI you're looking pretty good. ive got some work to do personally. Basically traded the 6 pack for a full keg over the past year. I'm about 200 lbs at 5'8 not fat fat but I'm pretty thick. I'm still gonna go out because I absolutely love Halloween but I'm not gonna live up to my previous one. It was so accurate that I won the internet for a few weeks. Next year though I'm gonna kill it. Put about 50 lbs on my bench and gained some pretty serious size so if I get down to the single digits again I'll be more than happy.

I've actually never heard them but I'll check them out. Really glad you like it though lol. It's not the most accessible genre for most people. Can't wait Tom we're all done though. We've got 10 tracks and 9 are mostly done. Have a few guitar parts j wanna redo and then bass/vocals/orchestra but we're shooting for December. I definitely plan on posting it on the misc to get some feedback. I'll be sure to send you a copy when it's all ready.

Just checked them out and I'm gonna be listening to more of them. That's right up my alley man. Check out this band. Almost nobody knows about them but I love them. They're like Explosions in The Sky meets Psyopus or something. Extremely technical and weird yet beautiful. They only have 3 songs but they're super interesting

Here's their band camp if you wanna check out more

I'm more than sure you'll enjoy them. Sounds sweet though, the orchestra will be a nice touch. Do you only do guitar or you do other things within the band? Yes please, post here. I bookmarked your Bandcamp just in case.

I play guitar and helped compose the drum and bass parts because as of now it's just me and the other guitar player. I can actually do somewhat decent harsh vocals which I may do on the album at least in a few parts but I have a really great vocalist lined up for a few tracks that I'm looking forward to. My guitar player plays Classical Viola at Columbia and he is getting the string quartet to do some stuff on a few songs. I think that's gonna turn out great.

Lol Muhammad would be some next level chit. We just used EZ drummer and logic to put everything together. We're recording the entire thing a laptop and Dennis from Bongripoer lives in my hometown so we're doing all vocals and strings at his house. He's got a full studio. I'm gonna check that band out too. Srsly though viraemia is awesome. I've actually been looking for an over the top braindrill esque band for a while and this is the first one that's really filled the void. This is awesome.

Coo, I'll have to check those out. I've been wanting to get into guitar again and make some music. Also some r&b type stuff to. Just checked out bongripper, m8 what vocals lol went through a few songs but the few I checked we're instrumental. Heck yeah they're good, that EP is old as **** though. They need to make some more music

Yeah out of luck there boyo, no idea how vocaroo works either. Inb4 she has a sore throat and isn't in an acoustic environment and she doesn't want to sing to loud

Oh man! You are a glutton for punishment! I do have a "professional" speaking voice that isn't bad, but when excited, or mad it gets fast loud, and chipmunk like.
No quit in me, so am I going to get the excited version or the mad version? Either one would be cute ;p

Lol Bongripper just had the studio. They have vocals in a few tracks but we have a bunch of friends doing guest vocals. If I could do vocals like anyone though I'd do them like Sam from Xanthochroid. He's all around a phenomenal musician. Vocals kick in around a minute

Even does some random slap acoustic arrangements of other songs for fun.

I'd love to be that well rounded.
