Just got a decant sample in the mail. It comes in a glass vial without a sprayer. What's the proper way to apply the scent to the skin so you can test it thoroughly? Use a Q-tip?

I've bought from him 4 or 5 times.

He never sends tracking without asking, which is weird. His decants are well packed and labeled.

Once I made an order for two different 10ml decants, and he apologized because he was all out and was waiting on the mail to deliver a package with more. Because he made me wait a couple days he doubled my order for free and gave me (4) decants. Pretty cool of him because I got 20ml of Layton for the price of 10.

-Go to Sephora
-Ask for samples
-Use samples
-Re use their decants when you receive a splash vial

There are more than a few good ones. The more masculine ones are French Lover, Epices Noir, and Vetiver Extraordinare. But IMO Malle has the best floral scents available- Carnal Flower, Une Rose, Portrait of a Lady - all full bottle worthy but not wearable for most men.

Yup, I did. It is described as having ginger but I don't get too much of that. To me, it's a spicy woody cinnamon mixed with patchouli and tea. Quite similar vibe to TF Plum Japonais without the plum.

I have the first gen x's...still. This christmas will be 3 years with them and they still work great. The later models really had just better foam pads on the ears. I buy the comply tips on amazon about once a year when 2 pairs wear out. Battery life is still 10/10 on these too.
