So its starting to make sense....he collapsed from something, then hit his head...but probably didnt have a pulse and who knows how awful his girlfriends CPR was, so could be some significant brain damage due to lack of oxygen. She says hes still alive, but at what level?

TMZ Sports has learned ... Piana's fitness model girlfriend, Chanel Jansen, was with Piana when he collapsed and hit his head on Monday afternoon.

Sources tell us ... Chanel administered CPR on the massive 46-year-old until help arrived.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was put in a medically induced coma.
There were rumors that Piana died from his injuries -- but Chanel says that's just not true.

" I just want to be clear [Piana] is STILL ALIVE," Chanel says ... "All myself and his family are asking for is POSITIVE thoughts, prayers, and love."

I hope he makes and doesn't literally leave humanity behind.

But srsly that dude looks terrible. Splash some green paint on him and he'd look like Frankenstein. All he needs are the electrodes in his neck.

If he pulls through, I hope he cycles down to a manageable size.

There's no reason he can't cycle down to a healthy and manageable 220-230lbs. Only eat 3-5 times a day. Go for a walk, take up swimming or try a different form of cycling for once.

Could put it on YouTube and call it "Living by the Day".

Just posted TMZ:

Cops were called to Piana's Florida home at 1:30 PM on Monday after the 46-year-old social media sensation suddenly collapsed in his bathroom while getting a haircut from his girlfriend, Chanel.

Piana's girlfriend says she tried to catch the former Mr. California bodybuilding champ when he collapsed but couldn't due to his massive size and weight. Chanel told officials Piana struck his head during the fall.

The 911 operator instructed Chanel to perform CPR but she was unable to revive him.

When emergency personnel arrived, paramedics found crushed up white powder on a table along with a credit card and straw and decided to give Rich 2 doses of Narcan (often used to treat opiate overdoses) to try and revive him.

Chanel told responders Rich had battled opiate addiction in the past but she believed he was clean.
Rich never regained consciousness and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was placed into a medically induced coma.

According to a book I read by a former doctor there have been more than 100,000 deaths since the year 2000 from legally prescribed opioids in the US yet nobody really seems to talk about it.

It's like here in Britain more people now die from legally prescribed methadone than from heroin. And the tax payer is paying out £300 million/year for the privilege.

It's a spiritual crisis the West faces. Drug deaths are a symptom.

It's out of control in the US. Folks move from oxy to heroin. Only heroin is no longer heroin. It's a bit of heroin and ******** (50 times stronger) or carfent (grain of salt sized amount will kill you).
