Kevin Durant comments on India
In the interview, Durant marvelled at the "cows in the street, monkeys running around everywhere", the muddy streets and visible poverty.

He also said India "is a country that's 20 years behind in terms of knowledge and experience".

In the same interview, Durant said he thought the Taj Mahal "would be holy ground, super protected, very very clean".

"And as I'm driving up, it's like, s***, this used to remind me of some neighbourhoods I would ride through as a kid. Mud in the middle of the street, houses were not finished but there were people living in them. No doors. No windows ... It's just an eye-opener."

so u think that indian people generally are very rude? the hospitality of the indian/pakistani people is unheard of in most western countries srs, but the litter on the streets, people skipping in line or people not being helpful is more related to socio-economic reasons than what you think.

I come from Norway but study in Poland, while its only a 1.5 hr flight away the difference between the countries is huge. In Poland people don't look happy on the street, the men will look angry at you, cashiers look depressed as fuk and people will push you when getting on/off the tram etc. In the beginning I thought they were just being rude but you have to think about their recent history + that many people here in Poland have a lot of economic problems ==> depressed and that really shows on the street.

Whenever I go back to Norway during the vacation I get shocked when people are smiling, being extremely helpful etc. You dont appreciate the country you live in until you visit a worse one lel.
