Plans to chill with my buddy and hit the range fell thru. (was gonna go to the range he works at) And the one closer to me is closed at 5:30 today...

Go practice with the shield and do cardio later .... Or buy beer and play video games....

Common sense would say this is a no brainier.

But the only range available to me is open till 8pm and ~1 hour drive in prime time 6pm traffic after work. (was going with my buddy cuz we can shoot solo after they close). This makes the beer and vidya games evil, tempting.

My general thing is, any flu like symptoms such as fever, body ache, fatigue, etc, no-go. Nose, throat, sinus, cold type things, etc, probably go but just dial it back a little (unless it's crazy sinus pressure in which case **** moving heavy weights and adding to the pressure lol)

I do think it helps feel better most of the time if it's not flu type stuff and if you don't go balls to the wall. I'm getting over (hopefully) a cough/nose/cold type thing I picked up Friday, just lifted right now, easier/lighter day nothing close to limit, feels alright.

No need in pushing yourself. Let your body use the energy to completely heal up.

I went in today and was feeling kind of tired. Did warmup on squats. Then left. Felt like I was sore and achy. I am at work now wishing I was at home. It's more than likely a sinus infection, but experience tells me that the gym won't help me heal faster with this.

Ignoring the home gym part...I just flew through a few international airports last weekend with kids that touched literally every single thing they could reach and ate food off the ground before anybody could do anything about it...not scurred of somebody with the cold at the gym lol

Why is it that seemingly every commercial flight has at least one person coughing up a ****ing lung sounding like they are dying? THAT **** makes me want to go full N95 mask and nitrile gloves

apply Neosporin to q-tip + spin q-tip in each nostril = not died.

People coughing like they're borderline choking and babies crying are the simple annoyances that always bring me back to reality that air travel is as glamorous as bus travel.

I do like people watching and trying to find that one person going through the internal dilemma, "stewardess said don't line up for bathroom but people keep doing it. I gotta chit but I don't wanna break the rules. Guess I better stare backwards for 20 minutes and let out silent farts."

lol

Then there's the 2.5+ hour flight where the fasten seat belt sign is on the entire time. But who was lavatory?! If I get up, will the flight attendant get on the PA with a reminder that the captain has turned on the fasten seat belt sign and we are to remain seated or will I avoid a not so subtle call out?

eh whatever I'll just recline my seat back halfway after they say full and upright positions, IDGAF. Thug Life

So, PSA is basically giving away a free BCG to anyone buying a 4ea:http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-5...t=5%3a00+Email

Also, apparently they're getting rid of all their Sigs:http://palmettostatearmory.com/deals...t=5%3a00+Email

Those prices for used range guns are not blowing my skirt up. And I've been to the PSA range..."lightly used" is not something I would say.

On the D60, it's a real pain in the ass to load and use. Bulky and awkward. I would highly recommend a Pmag 40 over the D60.

Thats a nice deal on Sigs. I'm waiting for my Ruger charger take down deal. I've seen a lot of cool aftermarket mods for them. I want a cheap plinker.

Why wouldn't anyone just prefer a DA/SA trigger over SA only on a Sig without a safety? Sounds like an additional step needed to engage if you needed to use it. Why not DA/SA and drop the hammer forward?

Because DA is too hard to shoot accurately for non-shooters? lolIDK that's a good question, even the best shooters ITT confess to ending up with the safety in the wrong place at times, I still don't really 'get' the idea of a manual safety on a pistol that can be kept in a holster while loaded
