I'll never understand why brits flock to the most crowded, disgusting places of the coast.

Many french, dutch, germans do it right. They rent a nice family home in the outskirts of a town. They get beaches with plenty of space, a house with bbq a pool and a backyard, town nearby to buy supplies and go out.

But the brits are like the flies crowding around a turd. All sunburnt, ugly, misshapen, dressing like clowns and whores, chitting up the place and frolicking in their own chit. Never get out of the british pub but still somehow look red as a lobster.

You must be some kind of impostor. I've never met a Spaniard did not incessantly complain that Ballermann (the German party area) destroyed Mallorca. I went there once when I was younger and it was f'n great (suff-wochenende...geil).

Majorca is a great holiday away, stayed in El Arenal last year, on the other side of the bay to Magaluf, had a great time loads of germans.

We got Akbars running vans into people and the locals saying "you have to go back" to tourists. Im going back in 2 weeks Aug30-Sept15. Staying just south of dubrovnik, then off to Montenegro for hiking and cayoneering.,

ive been to Split, Plitivica lakes, Sibenek, most of the dalmatian islands, ston and dubrovnik. Out of all of them split has the biggest party scene. bad thing is it seems every local HBB was botoxed up with implants.
Once we got down towards Dubrovnik, all the HBB's were thin athletic 5'8+
it is cheap AF to stay in Croatia too.

i live in the costa blanca and its way overrated imo, its nice to be for a month or two would not recommend for most people under 30 because it is boring AF for party

Was considering Split and Hvar... but I've heard that Hvar may be a bit too "spring breaky" for my tastes. I'm not 25 anymore and finding drunk, young tourists to smash is no longer a priority. Are there quieter parts of the island?

Any other places you'd recommend other than Dubrovnik? Basically looking for a pretty chill vibe with an older crowd (25+) in an area that isn't crazy expensive.

Also... best way to get from Split to Dub? Bus? Plane?
