Does anyone actually like IPAs.
They're fukking gross. Would buy any other kind of beer, can't stand IPAs tho. I feel like everyone that says they like them is just a hipster that's BSing everyone.
She asked me if I'm smoking again
I said I prolly gotta go in a bit.

My dad does. I agree though, hops are just bitter, unpleasant estrogen juice. Unfortunately in Portland's craft brewing scene, the more hop juice the better.

I do. I almost exclusively drink IPA's. I just preferred the flavor and higher alcohol content. At the time, I had no idea there was such a beef.

Right here boyo. Over 250 of my 500 plus unique check ins on Untappd are IPA's. Also have two kegged and one in the fermenters of my own.

Not a big beer enthusiast or anything but have tried a few IPA's that I actually quite liked. They often don't hit the right balance though IMO - a lot of the ones I've tried were way too bitter

If you can't tell the difference, than why would you prefer an IPA to a similar flavored lager or regular ale?

I really don't get it. I think it's just a trendy thing to like. No srs drinker friends of mine drink IPAs only some hipster friends of mine. That being said, sour beers and blonde beers are delicious so I just get those if somebody drags me to those IPA type places

NoDa Brewing Hop Drop n Roll from Charlotte, NC was the only one I cared for. While IPAs structurally just aren't balanced, the ones I liked had a super citrusy characteristic that gave it some balance. I loved that IPA.
But no, I cannot stand them. I definitely had a phase though and see why people like them. I just can't stand the bitterness anymore. I now prefer Brown Ales, Dark Lagers, and Craft Lights.

Used to drink IPA's frequently but lost the taste I had acquired for them since I rarely drink beer now. I tend to go for a sour these days. I dig the tartness that some sours have.
Always thought DFH 90 min IPA was a really well balanced IPA but I think it's technically a double IPA. Those tend to have more malt to offset the hoppiness.

Only IPA for me, thanks. Hate light beer now. Don't care for porter/stout anymore either. Bring on the buzz
