Just lmao at anyone hyping up the Gen 5 ****. Literally took the 17M and called it a Gen 5.

Lmao, not sure why anyone expected anything remotely different from the Gen 4. We're talking about a company that has not deviated from a 30 year old design, ever. Why would anyone expect anything different?
DLC slide coating? Nice. It's a great finish, but there was nothing wrong with tennifer. So "upgrade"? Meh.
No finger grooves? More of a preference thing than an upgrade. Some people like the finger grooves. I do.
"Marksman" barrel? Lmao, it's probably no more accurate than the gen 3/4 barrel. Which is fine. OEM barrel is more than fine for a defense gun. At the end of the day a Glock will never shoot as accurate as 1911's and CZ's are capable of, so the "marksman" barrel is a meh thing too.
Ambi slide stop? Who cares? People who are left handed are wrong.
Flared magwell? Who cares. It's a defense gun and anyone using them for competition will still put a magwell on it anyway.

Relent, I was reading that with the M/gen 5 they made changes with the trigger/internals that make the normal capability of shooting accurate at 25 yds now at 50 yds..

Has anyone else heard this??

Shield for the first time in over about 2 months. Between 6 and 10 yards. Mostly shot between 7-10 yards, not slow but not fast, didn't really focus. Target is 6 inches, I bought two packs (100 in each pack) of these targets since I had some credit with sportsmanguide, and couldn't think of anything else to grab.

Next trip I'll try this again but try and focus.

I see and understand what you're saying but what I read was in reference to when Glock made the M for the FBI.

Glock sold the IV on adjustable backstraps and an extra mag.

Going to be hard to sell the V on "No Fingergrooves".

They're going to sell the piss out of them because Glock fanboys gonna Glock fanboy. But I certainly don't expect they will take off the way Gen 4's did.
Gen 4 had quite a bit going for it over Gen 3.
- extra mag
- better grip texture
- interchangeable back strap
- bigger mag release which could be swapped for
people who do things the wrong way

Only thing worth mentioning on Gen 5 which is more preference than upgrade - no finger grooves.
My future Glocks will continue to be Gen 4's.

Lmfao. Glocks run absolutely flawless with non polished feed ramp. Polished safety plunger? Anyone who cares will just include that when they do the 25 cent polish job.

Seems obvious to me that Glock knew the Gen 5 was going to be just another Glock so they just fluffed it with junk that seems fine on paper but in reality is irrelevant.

What a horrible article.

Jesus. ******** Glock groups flooded with people who think the Gen 5 is just absolutely incredible.

I seriously don't know why Glock doesn't just release a new Generation every 2-3 years. Idiots will buy it no matter what. Their sales would be absolutely unreal.

Anyone buy a gun from CDNN?

Prices look good, but the shipping charges seem high. Today I got delivered the G19 mags I ordered on Sunday (TX to FL by USPS), so they are prompt about getting orders out the door.

They are very popular with everyone for magazines and other things...haven't heard anything negative about buying a gun from them

I've bought several guns and nongun orders from them. They are known for picking up unwanted inventory and closing it out, usually bundling in a bunch of Chinese junk accessories. They are good to go as a vendor. Their ammo and mags are usually good prices but high shipping balances it out.
