I love how ESPN has become the new CNN of the Sports World the past several years. But I turned it to SportsCenter this morning while getting dressed because I didn't want to watch the other news shows bashing Trump.
The story they ran with was the 'Rally for ****n Kaepernick' at the NFL headquarters. Gotta love how we rally to get statues removed and now we have people rallying to get a ******* QB that isn't any good to make a team. Our country is seriously screwed.
EDIT: LOL @ his name being censored. In before this is news.

Funny how JHP's in a handgun have been pigeon-holed as a weapon of mass destruction. Weren't they developed as a means to mitigate collateral damage due to over penetration?
When you're talking about handgun rounds, the wound channel between ball and JHP isn't radically different. A lot of people use ball for defense ammo because they want the additional penetration anyway.

But for 9mm, etc? Yeah...no. Today's hollow points are damn good and offer significant advantages to stopping a threat over FMJ.

Keep in mind that the Dem candidate for the election this fall is against guns pretty much, so I wouldn't go crazy buying mags in case they make the cap smaller. Where do you shoot usually?Bout to pull the trigger on a glock 19 or 17. Cant decide which. 19 smaller and more compact, 17 fits better in my hands. In NJ, CC is not option so having something super compact isn't really important

I'd like to keep the mag from hanging down below the action too much, and am less interested in the window than in having ~8 mags if I can sell these at $40 shipped.

The wound channel between a typical round nose full metal jacket and a modern quality JHP IS radically different. If you have a sufficient cartridge (.38spl/9x19 or larger) you can get that significantly wider JHP would channel and plenty of penetration, both.

I don't agree with it, but I do know of people who prioritize an exit wound over internal damage. Whatever...the first rule of winning a gun fight is simply having a gun. To each his own.

Ike, I also prefer the 20 round box mags for .308 but those mags at Brownells have terrible reviews
http://www.brownells.com/magazines/r...prod71942.aspx
These ASC mags are stainless steel, have great reviews, and are only a little more at $11.99

Wait, people are still not on the JHP train?
I thought everyone pretty much converted to modern hollow points around the same time Black Talons were released lol.

Not a bad deal if you like the 552. Granted, as-is, but as long as they aren't smashed to bits, it should work.
